She was lead actress in a late 50's British TV series called "Crane", all about, I recall, a soldier of fortune in the tropics - sort of The Saint, with sweat, it wasn't very good. Patrick Allen starred as Crane, and it was in one of his later series that an actress bared her breasts for the first time on national TV.
She also appeared occasionally in ITV's "Armchair Theatre" series of plays broadcast on Sunday nights. That's what I recall, anyway, but those with better memories may correct, adjust or fill in some gaps in my recollections. Margib |
