Just to add to Isambard some models actually go onto to tv shows like Linda did only she became an actress in 'Emmerdale' soap drama, Samantha Fox became a singer but was also a presenter in the 1980's for a show called "The Six O'Clock Show' with Michael Aspel(ex-DJ), Fred Housego(former MASTERMIND champion) and DJ & presenter Danny Baker. By all accounts she was very good, then took up singing. Linda incidentally did the panel shows and quizzes circuit most notably "Celebrity Squares" and "Blankety Blank" presented by Bob Monkhouse & Les Dawson respectively-sadly both are now dead. I don't think Vida was considered 'suitable' for mainstream television and was more likely to crop up in videos.
