Edit~ Here are some pics of an eagle under attack from a magpie, I especially like the last photo. Magpies will vigorously defend their territory. During nesting season they switch to ground attack mode and swoop humans. Last edited by Tmee2020; March 1st, 2013 at 10:10 PM.. Reason: More pics |

I noticed it's been hot where you are. I always thought it would be colder there than say Sydney or Brisbane, but that's not the case this year, or at least not at the moment. Is that normal?

Is that normal ???
Quote:
Is that normal Does anything about this place appear normal to you It does too me Anyway, I'm gonna answer you question. Generally, Melbourne is hotter than Brisbane and Sydney in the summer months. Brisbane and Sydney tend too be warm to semi hot and humid. I'm gonna answer your question like a teacher at school. So, pull up a front seat and desk and leave the teacher a pizza at end of lesson Download that chart and view it full size.......... Now, between Australia and New Zealand you'll see a high pressure system. The high pressure systems only tend to be along that latitude, that's part of the problem. The wind direction around a high pressure system in counter clockwise down here. Now, see how the isobars from the high extend way up into central Australia..... All that inland hot air get directed straight down too South Australia and Victoria. It's also the reason Victoria is the most bushfire prone place in the world . Those kinds of winds wont get too Brisbane or Sydney so it wont get as hot, generally. It's not often their temps get above 35 C, it just tends too be more humid and stormy there. Perth and Western Australia has the same conditions as Victoria. Understood Now for my capitalist fee Cheese, Tomato, Salami, Pepperoni, Anchovy, Mushroom and Olive pizza, Please

Australia is the only country you can LOSE a PM
Yes, LOSE a serving PM and not know what happened to him
One day, Mr Holt went swimming and was never seen again. Nothing was found. Not his swimsuit, bones, watch... When I read this, I thought "Come on, you can't just lose a PM", but they did This led me to the library and to "Ways you can die horribly in Australia, vol 21" So why does Comrade Estreeter have such a problem with the present PM? You know, sooner or later... |

You know something palo, You're one of the very few people that have asked me a question and I cannot answer, however it's also a question I never want too answer for the following reasons
1, I'm not really into getting splinters stuck into my member 2, I'm not really into sticking my member into lard
