Helen Lee Worthing was born in Louisville, USA under the name Worthington. She won a national photo beauty contest which brought her to the attention of Florenz Ziegfeld, and she was taken on as a Ziegfeld girl performing in his famous follies. She won many admirers and was picked by three world famous artists, including James Montgomery Flagg, as one of the five most beautiful women in the world.

This attention not unnaturally brought her to Hollywood's attention, and she started a 13 film career in 1923, which included the Barrymore hit, 'Don Juan' where she was uncredited, and her other best known film 'The Count of Luxembourg', both in 1926.

She married twice, both ended in divorce and she died in August 1948.

In April 1922, she was found in her apartment at 63 West Fifty-sixth Street New York suffering from bichloride of mercury poisoning, but made a recovery. This was after she had 'mistaken' the tablets for Aspirin. Friends said she had been 'morbid' over leaving 'Midnight Frolic'.

Her second marriage was where her life took the bumpy road .... in 1927 she claimed to have been beaten by an intruder, but asked her coloured maid if she 'knew a good doctor' (a strange request at the time as her maid would only have had coloured doctors ... so she may have wanted to hide something about her assailant), and she was introduced to Dr Nelson.

They fell in love and inside 2 months they ran off to Tia Juana, Mexico, and married in secret. Whilst this marriage was kept from the press, it was an open secret in Hollywood where they lived. But over time, rumours that her husband had negro ancestry started spreading .. it was virtually a crime for a white woman to consort with a Blackman, even in Hollywood .... and a career killer (a fact that didn't change until the 1970's). A mixture of hidden racism, and Ms Worthing's habit of imagining slights, even when none was meant, caused her to lose her circle of friends. They moved to an African American area, where they furnished a large house, but their marriage remained a public secret for a further two years.

Her career already on the edge with the advent of sound, collapsed with the speculation about her marriage. She was estranged from her family ... she separated and reconciled with her husband after he had "done things I can never forgive" ... in April 1931, she filed suit for divorce claiming that he had threatened repeatedly to have her sent to 'a mental cure institution' which had caused her great suffering. She also stated that he had accused her of improper relations with a 16 year old youth.

In 1932 she renewed her request for a divorce, with additional complaints that her husband had run around with other women and gave her medicines that put her in a comatose condition or left her reeling about in a stupor. She also said that she had called the police, after he locked out of the house in only a negligee. The Doctor then fought back with an annulment request, on the grounds that the Mexican marriage had been improperly conducted (not enough witnesses). On May 26th 1932 she was granted her divorce with an alimony settlement of $12000 agreed.

The doctor went back to court a few months later, to complain that the money he was paying her was being spent on narcotics ... so she was taken back to court on an insanity complaint from a friend, who stated that she had threatened suicide and was suffering hallucinations. The court psychiatrist / parole officer gave an affidavit that she was 'mentally disturbed, hears voices, and believes that mysterious persons are seeking to harm her'... she was sent to a sanatorium. In January 1933, Dr Nelson was granted and annulment which meant the alimony settlement no longer applied.

In August 1933 Ms Worthing attracted more news interest when, whilst travelling on the Santa Fe train from Los Angeles to New York, her sleeper compartment was found to be empty, apart from her ticket and handbag, just after it had left LA. Police Investigators found her the next day, in a hostel, registered under an assumed name of Vera Martin in LA - she told them that Dr Nelson had told her they were to remarry, and had put her on the train with $50 and some old clothes, but that she didn't want to go, so got off at Pasadena.

When questioned, the Doctor said that he had not tried to remarry her, and had just wanted to be friends. He told the police he wanted nothing more to do with her, and that she was on parole from her psychopathic court. She was arrested in the hostel for breach of parole by use of narcotics ... she was placed back in the sanatorium, where she stayed until 1935 when she was pronounced cured.

In June 1935 she was arrested for drunkenness in Ocean Park California, after a police officer found her slumped on a kerbside singing songs. He arrested her and took her to Lincoln Heights jail - She pleaded guilty and got a $5 fine and a 10 day sentence (probation for a year) by judge in 'sunrise court'.

All of this was followed by the press up until 1935 when she simply disappears ....

Some of you may have noted that I haven't posted here (or indeed elsewhere for a couple of months) ... Sadly I just don't have the time for these posts anymore. This is therefore most likely the last bad girl from me on this thread for a while (unless my time management skills improve). Thanks for all your support over the course of the years VK

Zorita (b. Katherine Boyd) was from Youngstown, Ohio, USA. She was adopted in 1915 by a strict Methodist couple from an orphanage at the age of 9 months. She left school to start manicuring at a local barbershop at the age of 15, and was soon entering local beauty pageants where she was 'discovered'.

She became a burlesque artist in 1935 aged twenty where her specialties were a twenty minute dance with two boa constrictors, `Elmer' and `Oscar', and her `Dance of the Wandering Hands'. She was an infamous 'bad girl' of the 1930's (and onwards), notorious for her bad language, and her penchant for punching out at patrons who got too close to her snakes.

She is most famous for her act "The consummation of the wedding of the snake", where she stripped while holding an 8 foot boa constrictor. She danced at the 606 club and Minsky's club, and also used furs in her routines too. She would flash her 'knish' to the punters (as long as the law weren't in). When once asked if she ever flashed for the extra applause, she said it got your "name known more and more pay". She considered that it was part of the fun to give "everybody a hard-on and they can't have it."

Her other numbers included one where she danced in front of a rhinestone spider web, while the hands of an unseen spider gradually removed her clothing. Another act was a take on a well known vaudeville routine - the 'Half and Half'. Taking gender bending to new levels, she dressed one half of her body as a male groom, and the other as a female bride. Always keeping one profile to the audience, the groom and bride gradually removed each others clothing, leading to a climactic "wedding night" romp.

It was only in 1954 that she stopped stripping, to run a number of different nightclubs in the New York and Miami areas. Although she taught younger girls routines, she refused to let go the secrets of her famous snake dance. When burlesque 'died' and was replaced by blue movies, she was operating a club in Miami with another female partner. However 'liberal' she looked, she would not come in to the club when her partner booked Linda “Deep Throat” Lovelace as she felt it was immoral.

She also appeared in a number of films during her career:

She had one child to an unnamed man, and whom she stuck in a drawer when she performed her act. In 1974 she retired to Florida, where she bred Persian cats. She died in November 2001.

An alternative version of the events of her life included that while working as a manicurist, a colleague asked her if she wanted work at stag parties. This meant 'stripping for bachelors' to phonograph records or an accordion. According to this version of her life, Zorita was working stag parties and participating in nudist colony events by the time she was aged 15.

When a drunken patron once batted her python away, she stopped the act and laid the man out with a single punch.

She was charged by the American SPCA for cruelty to 'Elmer' when they alleged she put adhesive tape over his eyes and mouth. On trial day she showed up to the courthouse with Ebner, a black poodle, a Pomeranian, and a Brazilian bird in a gold cage. She was asked to leave the dogs and bird outside the Court, but she refused to leave Elmer outside. She was released on $1500 bail, but all her snakes were confiscated.

She was also an open and vocal lesbian, proclaiming men as “hairy” and that she only used them for things she needed .... like her baby and her pension fund. She was in love with fellow performer Sherry Britton, who she pursued relentlessly, but sadly to no avail as Ms Britton was not on the same sexual path, however they became friends.

Ms Britton was also a source of Zorita anecdotes: Such as that Zorita once customized a fox fur g-string by shaving it down the middle and dying it to match her hair, so it resembled pubic hair. "She had different colour g-strings for different hair colours."

Zorita reported an incident in Toledo, Ohio, where she was arrested for flashing. She claimed this to be a false charge as she had seen the cops on her way in the club. "Knowing they're in, wouldn't I be stupid to flash? And they busted me for . . . flashing. And they said that they could see hair. I said, 'That's impossible, I haven't had a hair on my knish in years.'"

Despite her open sexual interest in the ladies, she occasionally 'dated' men for 'gifts' (stocks rather than cash ).

Trivia:

• She alternately called her pubic region “the waterfront” and “my knish.”
• She lived in Florida, on several acres she bought from the income off General Motors stock which she requested as gifts from every man she “dated.”
• While at a nudist’s colony at the San Diego World’s Fair she was “Miss England” for some reason. However while there she befriended a geek who charmed snakes among other talents. As a parting gift, he gave her two snakes, 'Elmer' and 'Oscar', which she kept in her closet, in a canvas sac.

Her Synopsis of "The consummation of the wedding of the snake":

“A gorgeous young maiden is going to be sold into slavery to an ugly old man. Instead, she dances with a snake, gets bitten and dies.” The dance was performed with full candour, replete with grinding and orgasm moans as the “wedding” was consummated.

On the subject of "flashing your knish." ....

"There was a red light in the orchestra pit and when the red light was on, it meant the cops were in, so play it safe. When the red light went out, all bets were off. There were times you would work in the theatre and you might do two shows and be covered, and the third show the red light was off and so then you flashed. And your customers were so used to that, and they knew that if they saw that you didn't flash, the law was in. And so, they just usually sat over for the second shift or came in later on that week. Some of the customers came in and saw the show two and three times.

You flashed all the time, as much as you could. Everybody had their own system and style. I had elastic on my G-strings that I could pull between my legs and pull it way up, but if I saw that the police were in I could just spread my legs and the G-string would pop right back up and cover me, and I was home free."

Rula Lenska was born in St Neots, Huntingdonshire, England to a aristocratic Polish family in exile. Her birth name was Countess Roza-Marie Leopoldnya Lubienska and they had owned an estate in Dzików (with a castle). She was educated at the Ursuline Convent School in Westgate-on-Sea, Kent.

She broke into acting as 'Little Ladies' band member, "Q," in the British TV series 'Rock Follies' in 1976. She was also doing TV adverts such as for hair products like'Alberto V05'. She appeared a numerous UK 1970' and 1980's TV shows such as 'Special Branch', 'Minder', 'Casualty', 'Space: 1999', Return of the Saint, and 'Doctor Who'. She then started appearing in TV soap 'Coronation Street' ,quitting in 2011 to join the 'Calendar Girls' tour in August 2011.

She also starred in movies such as 'Confessions of a Pop Performer', and 'Royal Flash' in 1975. 'Queen Kong' in 1976 ... as well as touring and stage work and was on 'Celebrity Big Brother'. She still works .... but nothing since 2014.

She was married twice, first to actor Brian Deacon (4 June 1977 – 1987), and secondly, to actor Dennis Waterman, from 3 January 1987 until 31 March 1998 and both marriages ended in divorce.

She made the newspapers for the first time in a number of years, when in February 2016 she was arrested for drink driving. Her Mini or Kia car clipped a parked vehicle and rolled onto its side in the middle of the road with her three year old grandson aboard in Twickenham, South West London. Up to 15 motorists and locals raced to help and one of them told the press that "As a result of the accident, the Mini’s ignition was killed, the doors were locked and the windows were powered up, so we couldn’t get in. It took quite a long time to get the woman calm. There was a child in a car seat in the back. Once we got them out we rolled the car back on its wheels. The woman was very shaky. The child was fine".

When police arrived witnesses claimed to police they could smell alcohol on her breath, so she was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol. She was breathalysed some 30 minutes later, which provided a positive sample and she was charged both with DUI, and with being drunk while in charge of a child, and released on bail.

When she appeared before Wimbledon Magistrates' Court in March 2016 she claimed to have had only one vodka shot with some Polish builders to toast the completion of her new garden fence .... she said that she was distracted by a warning light when she crashed her car. She was banned from driving for 16 months after admitting to drink-driving with 47mg of alcohol in 100mil of breath (limit 35mg). She was also fined £410 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £41 plus £85 costs.

Trivia:

• Her father, Major Count Ludwik Maria Lubienski, was a personal secretary to Józef Beck, the Minister for Foreign Affairs in pre-1939 Poland and came London when Poland fell to the Nazi's.
• Her mother was Countess Elżbieta Tyszkiewicz survived two years in Ravensbrück concentration camp.
• One of her sisters Anna, was also an actress who appeared in a few films in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
• She renounced her title as a Polish countess; she later said - "In England it doesn't count, if you'll excuse the pun."
• She was promoted in a hair product advert as a 'celebrity' which bemused Americans when it aired there as she was completely unknown. Tonight Show host noting the advert running before his show asked "Who the hell is Rula Lenska?" and began using Lenska's name as a running joke on his show which gave her publicity and recognition as a model.
• In 2009 she sought compensation from the Polish government for the Communist state's seizure of her family's Polish estate.
• She is a qualified HotAir Balloon pilot.
• She infamously let MP George Galloway lick milk from her hands in CBB.

Zabdart suggested this lady, and after some thought I have come out of 'retirement' for a special gig .....

Nabilla Leona Benattia was born in Ambilly, France from an Algerian/ Swiss Italian background. At age 14, she was sent to South Korea when her parents divorced. She was first hired by a modelling agency when she was 14 years old in South Korea, and has never looked back since. In 2011, aged 19, while working on the Peugeot stand, she was elected 'Miss Salon international de l'automobile de Genève', and in the same year she appeared in TF1's reality TV show l'Amour est aveugle ("love is blind"), in which the participants meet in total darkness.

She is something of a reality star in France, and in 2012 she appeared in the fourth series of 'les Anges de la télé-réalité', which was shot in Hawaii and in 2013, she finished filming on the fifth series in Florida. Her catch line "Euh, allô! non, mais allô, quoi?" ("Er, hello! I mean, like, hello?) gave her household fame, when it was picked up and parodied on other TV shows and adverts.

She has modelled for 'Pl*yboy' and other mens mags such as 'Maxim' ... and she has appeared in 'L'Amour est aveugle' in 2009, 'Hollywood Girls' between 2012 and 2014', 'Les Anges de la télé-réalité' between 2012 and 2013, and her own TV show 'Allo Nabilla' between 2013 and 2014. She has been, and is, still in a relationship with Thomas Vergara since January 2013, and her first autobiography "Too Fast" came out in 2016.

In July 2009, she was arrested for her part in a fraud alongside three Congolese men. She used a stolen passport to open three bank accounts under a false identity, and the Congolese gentlemen intercepted money transfers from public letter boxes and modified the bank account details to match the accounts she had set up. She subsequently withdrew money from them. The victims were slow to realise the theft because most of them were elderly people.

According to the department of justice, approximately 200,000 Swiss francs were stolen. She was caught in a branch of UBS Bank in January 2009, withdrawing the money on CCTV and was arrested at Geneva airport in July 2009, with the passport of her cousin, and used a false identity to the police. She was found guilty and spent a month in La Clairière youth detention centre for her part in the crimes as part of her six months prison sentence.

On 7 November 2014, it was reported that she had been detained after her boyfriend was reportedly stabbed in the body with a Kitchen knife in a hotel suite ..... She phoned the hotel reception, to claim that he had been attacked by three men outside the hotel and was seriously injured. These claims were later refuted by the hotel staff and by police, who insist that there is no evidence of the attack on the hotel CCTV, while there is also no sign of Mr Vergara's blood outside the hotel.

In the meantime he had been admitted to hospital telling doctors he had 'fallen on a kitchen knife' while with Nabilla. She was originally charged with attempted murder as his condition was serious. She was only released from prison under strict bail conditions of non contact with Mr Vergara ... but flew back into his arms and as he insisted that he did not want to press charges against her, the case was eventually dropped as the prosecutors had no witnesses and her false crime report was only a misdemeanour.

Trivia:

• While in South Korea she was offered a part in the film 'Secret Story', twice, but could not do so because of her age.
• Following her first appearance on TV, she had breast enlargement surgery, which she claims was to further her career, enabling her to appear in publications such as Maxim and Pl*yboy.
• She earns about €25,000 per series (plus priceless publicity ... oxygen for girls like this).
• While on a location she forged a relationship with Sofiane Tadjine-Lambert. He composed a song about her"Dingue de toi" (Nabi… Nabilla). which reached number 25 in the French music charts.
• In the fourth episode, after an argument with a fellow participant regarding the purchasing of shampoo, Benattia uttered to the camera the words which led to the establishment of her celebrity status: "Euh, allô! non, mais allô, quoi. T'es une fille et t'as pas de shampooing ? Allô. Allô ! Je sais pas, moi, vous me recevez ? T'es une fille, t'as pas de shampooing ? C'est comme si je dis : t'es une fille, t'as pas de cheveux !" ("Er, hello! I mean, like, hello? You're a girl, you got no shampoo. Hello. Hello! I dunno, you receiving me? You're a girl, you got no shampoo? It's like I'd say: you're a girl, you got no hair".)
• She is often referred as the "French Kim Kardashian" by TMZ (but without the backside). Think Katie Price (Jordan) in UK.
• Height 5' 9¼" (1.76 m).

Allison Mack is an American actress, known for her roles as Chloe Sullivan on the WB/CW series Smallville, and as Amanda on the FX series Wilfred.

In 2010, she was reported to have been recruited by the Vancouver chapter of the alleged cult NXIVM along with her Smallville co-star Kristin Kreuk. In a 2003 article from Forbes, advocates of NXIVM portrayed it as an organization focused on inspirational executive coaching, while detractors accused the founder Keith Raniere of running a cult-like program aimed at breaking down his subjects psychologically. The co-founder of the Vancouver chapter reported in a 2017 The New York Times exposé that Allison had been branded in an initiation ceremony under the supervision of a top NXIVM official.

Allison was arrested by the FBI in Brooklyn on April 20, 2018 on charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and forced labor conspiracy. According to prosecutors, Allison, who ranked directly below Raniere in a pyramid scheme called DOS, recruited female slaves for him and forced women to have sex with him under threat of having damaging information about them released in exchange for what were described as "financial and other benefits".

Marie Avgeropoulos is a Canadian model and actress. She is best known for her role as Octavia Blake on the TV series, The 100.

On August 5, 2018, police in Glendale, California were responding to a call of a possible assault at the actress' home. Following the field investigation, Marie was arrested and booked for felony domestic violence after marks were found on her boyfriend's body.

The boyfriend reportedly didn't want to have her arrested, but rather have police diffuse the situation after she started hitting him during an argument. It is reported that he was the one who bailed her out of jail. She was released on a $50,000 bond.

Sources close to the star report that Marie was allegedly on new medication (for what, it wasn't disclosed), and had mixed wine with it during dinner that evening. This apparently led to a bad reaction.
