... mailmen are so petrified to deliver mail because of all the murders, muggings, and drive-by shootings that the last time we had mail delivery the price of postage stamps cost 10 cents!

But ..........

The town council has recently devised a way for mailmen to now delver mail underground via the sewer system!

... when the priest at our church says "Go in peace" at the end of Sunday services, the parishioners respond back to him forcibly saying "don't make us laugh Father, that's easier said than done, Amen!"

Yeah, and you never can tell about some of those priests, maybe for his partners protection as well! Some priests are not as "Holier Than Thou" as they pretend/profess to be!
