E! True Hollywood Story - Ginger Lynn and Savannah

I uploaded both to youtube. The Ginger Lynn E! True Hollywood Story is a rare find. You won't find it anywhere else. I also uploaded the Savannah True story which has complete sound unlike the inferior versions found on Youtube where the sound cuts out.

I heard Savannah committed suicide because her nose got fucked up after her car accident and she was upset about that.

That's what I heard back in 1994 from other folks in the adult film industry after she died.

Is that true?

Not an expert, but I was sure I read she was also so messed up on drugs and high drama which led to the suicide with the accident trauma too.

I saw that True Hollywood Story on Savannah many years ago. Yes, it portrayed her as extremely shallow, vain, and messed up on drugs. She loved her looks and her white corvette... when she wrecked her 'vette and started losing her good looks, she lost the two things she loved the most. So she killed herself.

Savannah's' THS had snippets of an interview with her Mom. Those parts were pretty sad too, because the Mom seemed like a good parent who simply couldn't control her daughter.

As far as Savannah goes, she was never very well liked by anybody in the adult industry. The other women didn't like her because she treated them like garbage, the male talent didn't like her because she literally just spread her legs and lay there. No moaning, no "Oh yeah baby," nothing. Granted she was for the most part working with dudes who had been in the business for a number of years and who had little if any problems getting a boner and going through the motions, but come on.

I do recall reading about her and Teri Weigel getting into a slap fight of sorts in the actual boxing ring on the set of Battle of the Superstars.

She was not liked by directors and makeup people and camera people because she was always late. Not a couple of minutes. not half an hour. Like four hours late. Which is bad enough on a regular movie when you've got a multi million dollar budget, but in those days porn was shoestring and you were renting peoples houses for a day and such. She fucked up and fucked over multiple movies because of her lateness.

And then there's the late Greg Allman. She hooked up with him because Greg was in LA and somehow ended up hanging out with Ron Jeremy because of course he did and Greg inquired if Ron could maybe possibly introduce him to a porn starlet or three and Ron, being Ron said, "Sure, who do you have in mind?" Greg ended up casting Savannah in a couple of his music videos but again she showed up really late to one of the shoots, but by that point she and Greg were more interested in something else.

Having sex perhaps? I mean even for imitating a mattress when it came to the actual act, no one would deny that Savannah was hawt.

But no, they were more interested in seeing who could snort the most cocaine up their nose with getting a bloody one. Which is...kind of admirable, maybe I sorta guess, if they had been doing it back in the 1970's when no one thought of cocaine as addictive because we were all fucking morons.

Which might have been fine because even now, there cocaine is very big part of the adult business, more so for girls than guys 'cause with guys you tend not to be able to get hard if you do it, and then you have to do the old "inject directly in the dong with the erection drugs" routine, which, pass.

But that might have been fine, except Savannah moved from regular old cocaine to heroin and then to crack, which really caused problems with her career, because she wasn't showing up hours late, she just plain wasn't showing up at all and was missing dates she had to do appearances at conventions and strip clubs, which cost her a good bit of money and lots of goodwill among strip club owners, who were not people you really wanted to mess with, even if you were the hottest girl in the porn world at the time.

She started to spiral and was fired from several video shoots and well it got really unpleasant at the end.

I have a few movies with her in them only because there is another porn actress in that same movie I like.

But to this day if I see a movie where Savannah is the main star and the other actresses I don't have interest in, I will not even download it.

Yeah, to me she was the definition of a 'phony' and 'cold fish,' when it came to sex.

I was pissed off, which looking back was really stupid, but anyway, about Battle of the Superstars because it had been hyped as this volcanically hot movie with Savannah and Teri Weigel with the implication that they would double team Peter North. Turns out Weigel never touches him.

She should had stayed a Playboy Playmate and make softcore boring Playboy videos.
