You may remember the spat between Arsenal and Man Utd at Old Trafford back in 2003. Not long after England played in Turkey and drew 0-0 to secure a place in the 2004 European Championships. There was a bust up at half time. On the same day as the F.A fined the clubs some £250,000, UEFA fined England and Turkey about £10,000.
Back then the F.A had a big stadium to finance.

For once I'm happy to see a lot of substitutions in an England game. Anyone else spend time staring at the attractive, large breasted blonde in the short grey dress behind where the subs waited to come on?

2-0 at the moment. Rashford with his best game in an England shirt. Rose showing why Young shouldn't be in the squad. Bertrand should be there instead.

She's the reason LUTV is well subscribed; the post match interviews are entertaining for all the wrong reasons.

Young got in the squad with his all-too obvious limitations. He could have been left at home and the likes of Bertrand (who is an excellent crosser as well) given a chance or even add Shelby - Delph could cover though if needed. I thought he played a decent game. I agree with ol' Glenda Hoddle - we do need to release the ball with a bit more urgency, not play possession for the sake of it. But it wasn't a bad performance.
The midfield poses more questions than ever - some of the 'first choice' midfielders haven't done so well as their team mates. Rashford should start ahead of Sterling, and I think Alli's displays would only earn him a place on the bench - will the temptation to play him with Kane be too much? Meanwhile, Welbeck has the happy knack of looking ordinary, but scoring.

And that's not saying a lot about him. He cannot produce the goods in key games for United, a bit like Welbeck's time at OT.
I hope he has a good World Cup, that will increase his stock and make him more attractive to other clubs, he sure as hell isn't good enough to stay at Utd.
