The MLS has replaced the Scottish Premier League as the retirement fund top-up league
I'd put Rooneys move in the same box as Beckham going to Real Madrid at the end of his career. It sold lots of shirts Wayne Rooney's a Has-Been, Says Alexi Lalas http://www.tmz.com/2018/05/10/ben-ol...-wayne-rooney/ |

Oh, and expect more of the same next season. The likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are crapping themselves with fear at what we might produce next season......Or did my mate say pissing themselves laughing? |

Most players are either in holiday mode with nothing to be gained from the result
or self preservation mode if they are involved in the World Cup Speaking of all conquering what is it with these teams that dominate all the stats except shots on target & goals scored Latest Fulham 3rd 0 - 74 % possession - playing away Derby 6th 1 - 26% https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44024784 |

i wouldn't mind derby being promoted just to see if they could get less points than last time.
whatever else we may say about allardyce he deserves some praise for getting rid of rooney far quicker than anyone else has. |

I really cannot believe I am wondering why BFS is not in the mix for Manager of the year. He will more than likely not be at Everton next season, but he has taken them from hovering around the trap door to almost Europa League candidates. He may be a bit of a dullard and the football is as exciting as a plate of lettuce, but if he was in charge from the start of November, Burnley would probably be missing out on Europe.
Speaking of dullards, hopefully our three don't bring him back. Rooney would be better off heading to Tranmere, but when you have a bag of money dangled under your nose, why would he bother? Welcome to the money-go-round. |

Can't....bring....self....to press....thanks...button....for someone who....suggests Jabba the....manager for....manager of the....year.
Talking of Tranmere (who I don't like because of John Aldridge) I'm watching the National League playoff final and Tranmere were down to 10 men after less than a minute. Despite this they were 1-0 up before Boreham Senseless equalised in the 7th minute of first half stoppage time. Watching Lincoln v Exeter in between times. Good day today. Four live games as well as Rugbys European Final.

Cheer up Victor - things could be worse: Moyes might have had a go for Rooney. Good man in a punch up, fading fast, flashes of brilliance but mainly mediocre and has the odd unpredictable injury - would have been perfect.
I wonder if Everton will spend the money trying to buy even more attacking midfielders? I suspect they will. As for BFS I know what you mean, but no, have a pint and stop worrying. I'd be tempted to vote for Wenger, purely out of facetiousness. Sean Dyche or Roy H should be the main contenders. If LFC turn over Real Madrid, all bets may be off. |

A once upon a time story from the pub last night.
If Newcastle, Palace, Bournemouth, Watford and Brighton all lose today and we beat Everton we will finish 10th. It might be Sunday, but no Premier League biblical miracle's for us today. TBH I don't even know if its possible as I have not look at the league ladder today. |
