Bust measurement in inches/cm vs cup size

Which is the best indicator of breast size? I was looking at stats of different women and was surprised to see that Danni Ashe and Merilyn Sakova are both 32G. Merilyn appears significantly larger than Danni. Karina Hart is listed as a 42" bust and Gianna Michaels whose breast appear smaller than Karina's are 43".

Band size (the numeric designator of rib cage girth as measured under the breasts) is the same from country to country. It only differs by whether it is quantified using inches or centimeters.

However, there is no international standard for the alpha designation used to label bra cup size. Bra cup size - no matter what lettering sytem is used - is the difference in girth between the band size and the fullest part of the breasts.

All kinds of issues make size comparisons of womens breasts difficult. In addition to the lack of a standard letter designation, other factors (sag, shape, etc) render bra cup size comparison useless.

the inch measurement tells you more about the woman's body type/frame than breast size.

one of the sex symbols for years is Raquel Welch, who does have good size breasts. Thing is she has a narrow waist and a upper body that can be described by looking at her back which is narrow at the waist and broad at the shoulders. So her measurement in inches is a bit misleading. both her inch measure and cup size are large

compare her to the women who have a slender frame with narrow waist and non-broad shoulders whose inch measurement may be 36" or less but who have large cup size.

Well, look at it this way. The cliched measurements for a "pretty girl" are 36-24-36. But as Sir Mix-a-lot says in "Baby Got Back," only if she's 5'3". A short girl with a 32C bust could look more busty than a 5'8" girl with a 32C.

My ex was around 5'4" depending on the shoes she was wearing and she was rather busty. She told me she was a 38C, but now I question whether or not she was even wearing the right size bra. I have looked up models with that same measurement and their breasts look small compared to my ex. I would love to be able to compare some of my favorite women but I guess it is not possible unless they do a photo shoot standing side by side.

Except in the broadest sense I don't think you can guess what a woman's breasts will look like based on her bra size or vital stats. Sure you can work out whether she's going to be flat-chested or buxom, but you can't work out what shape her breasts might be.

My ex wife was 38-23-35 and she wore a 34D bra (UK size), but her breasts didn't look anywhere near as full as a woman I once dated who also wore a 34D. With my ex there was plenty of volume but her breasts were very soft and not what you would call pert. They also hung to the side which deprived her of a natural cleavage, though that didn't make them any less fun to play with. In fact they had a nice bounce and swing to them whenever she was riding a guy cowgirl :-)

She was measured several times over the years and always came out as a 34D. That makes me wonder whether women with fuller breasts aren't wearing a cup size too small.

Many of the ladies I dated over the years wore the wrong bra size, as evidenced on several mammorable, sorry memorable, occasions. Of note in particular, one used to wear 36B but on getting professionally measured switched to 34C/D. Another wore 34E but in fact 38D was more accurate because she had a broad back. I think a lot of women are as confused about bra size as some of us guys! My particular preference in ladies these days is circa 34D.

I am certain that you are correct--Most American women wear poorly-fitting bras because they are confused about sizing. The errors get worse with larger sizes. I had an ex who measured 30G, but had to have bras handmade.
