Default Your Favourite Car Chase.

I posted a video the other day and remembered early on in the movie the main actress is doing the business with a vibrator whilst part of one of the chase scenes from Freebie and the Bean is showing on her tv.
From memory it was a very good chase and wondering you guys have any faves?

Here's the one.

Probably the 'mother' of all car chases from 'Bullit', starring Steve Mcqueen:

Bullitt is great but let down on repeated viewings by the reappearing green Beetle and the suspicious number of hubcaps the Charger loses.

How about?
The Blues Brothers
Gone In 60 Seconds (the original)
To Live And Die In LA (cheap US blu ray issue soon)
The French Connection
The Rock
Mad Max 2
Vanishing Point
Two Lane Blacktop
Taxi (the French original, not the dire American remake) and its sequels
Ronin

I still love the original 'The Italian Job' as they scream through Turin being chased by the Italian police-except when they dump the Coopers off the Alps at the end. That makes a grown man cry - what a waste.
WRT the movie 'Bullitt' and its irregularities, I got a book a couple of years ago all about car chase movies and the behind the scenes makings - VERY informative book and quite interesting as to how some of the scenes were filmed.
And before I forget - another classic car chase movie - 'Gumball Rally'. We used to do that coming off the BC Ferries - all you'd hear on the radio was 'Gumball' from all willing participants.
Ah the younger years...

Definitely BULLIT! The only car chase scene with real sound effects and no crappy background music.

Default Horror movie chases

No mention yet for the start of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 with the good old boys chasing down their next meal.
Duel - car vs. truck
Jeepers Creepers - the scene when the creepers truck first takes on our heroes.

I remember "Duel"
Pretty much the whole film was a truck chasing a car, I think it could have been Steven Spielbergs's 1st major film
