Hi Yes, the text says Hamburg, but is possible that it isn't Hamburg. So I'm watching the Hamburg Skyline, and I need time to compare all the pics with the magazine pict Stay tuned

Hi all,

The city is in fact Münich, Germany. The text in the magazine had me fooled for a while, but the distinctive church was the thing that solved it all

By identifying other buildings in the picture I was able to determine which angle the picture was taken from, and the conclusion is the Westin Grand Hotel

This location has been used in a few photoshoots, with the models Karin Hornel and Carmen Fernandez, and another unknown girl:

Wow great! I was sure that it wasn't Hamburg, because comparing webcams and skyline pictures, there weren't church or buildings like in the magazine!!! I was watching just now, but you was very fast to solve the maze, eheh. Great work with a professional map triangulation

But I'm not sure.
It is in Munich: here is link to a map listing Opel-service Winklhofer in Großhaderner Str 29 in Munich. The half-covered logo is an Opel sign, and the name apparently is Winklhofer.

I think the location is here.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@48.11...7i13312!8i6656

The Opel dealer is still there although i cant see if it is still the same name. The street map coverage is poor at this location and it is hard to get a better view. But there are still traffic lights and i can see the bus stop in the distance across the road from where the original photo was taken. Thoughts?

I have been scratching my head as well, one suggestion could be:

Valley Hospital Medical Center
620 Shadow Ln,Las Vegas, NV 89106,USA

It looks somehow similar with the palm trees etc, but I also think that the hospital has changed a lot since the pic was taken.
