I gave up on the NFL's discipline system way back when Tagliabue was in charge. Back then, egregious acts on the field were given fines of several thousand dollars, while a violation of the uniform code could cost up to six figures.

Damn!! Lebron James got picked up by the LA Lakers. I was hoping the Houston Rockets would pick him up!! The new owner of the Rockets, Guy Fertitta, owner of Landry’s restaurants, is worth $4.4 billion. He paid $2.2 billion for the Rockets. He can afford to pay the meager $154 millions the Lakers paid to pick up Lebron. I don’t like Lebron but the Rockets need help.

A few months ago LeBron bought a gazillion dollar house in LA. At that point it was obvious (to me, at least) that he was going to an LA team.
