The Sun had run Page 3 into the ground, with an aging bunch of stale girls, posing in lifeless shots - beyond tame and utterly mind numbing. No edge, no freshness, pure tedium. Danvers and Parker FFS, plain,uninteresting - page turners not Page 3 girls. They had the chance to take Beth Lily on - and she didn’t even make the grade. Unbelievable.

What The Sun was serving up was so lacking in sexiness - and so dry - I cannot understand how the haters were bothered to protest. It should have been Page 3 fans doing the protesting.

My only disappointment at The Sun pulling the feature, was that it set a chain reaction for the last rites of the Lads Mags.And basically the end of the glamour industry.
