Do you patronise this place? Halal they say on the menu. Does Mr Kebab slaughter his animals out the back yard? And how do you make that cone shaped "meat" that goes round and round heated by a super ser?

For those who choose to eat at McDonald's allow me to suggest you watch "Super Size Me". In brief it documents a man, Martin Spurlock, who dined at McDonald's restaurants three times per day, eating every item on the chain's menu at least once. Spurlock consumed an average of 20.92 megajoules or 5,000 kcal (the equivalent of 9.26 Big Macs) per day during the experiment. As a result, the then-32-year-old Spurlock gained 24½ lbs. (11.1 kg), a 13% body mass increase, a cholesterol level of 230, and experienced mood swings, sexual dysfunction, and fat accumulation in his liver. Anyway, I posted this along with some other pictures elsewhere and thought readers of this thread might get a chuckle from it as I did. |

The weird thing is in a lab the food stayed mostly the same after many weeks. The fries never had a mould spore on them after months that is a bit strange. If I want a pig out i'll go to my local chippy or chinese/indian. McDees noway. KFC & Burger King noway. it is not food. It is loosely based food full of shite. If I ever have kids I won't let them near that poison. I was brought up on a sensible diet. Yes we had chips now and again, but not every night or week.

New Years Day Meal
My grandparents, both from Germany, always served pork and sauerkraut on New Years Day as it was believed to bring good luck in the coming year. Greens, usually cabbage, are associated with money and, thus, thought to bring good fortune. Sauerkraut's long strands also symbolize long life. Pork's rich fat content symbolizes wealth and prosperity. Pork is also considered a symbol of progress because pigs root forward. I still carry on the tradition today. Last Saturday I went to the public market on 2nd Street and bought homemade sauerkraut and brauts from an Amish farmer and his wife. This morning I put them in a slow cooker with some garlic, onions, fresh black pepper and my secret ingredient, 12 ounces of Shiner Holiday Cheer. No worries, there's 11 left for later. Right now it's simmering in the kitchen and the whole house smells fricking delicious! Later I'll boil and mash some potatoes with a stick of butter and the rest of the garlic. In the meantime, little Eric (no jokes please ) and I are enjoying some Ryans Irish Creme and coffee, stomach growling in anticipation! |

Here's some fat people queuing for junk food on their disabilty scooters at the drive through - at least no one has to stand beside them and smell the reek from the unwashed crevices on their hideous flabby bodies. |
