Things you wished you never said

As the thread says things you have said but wished you hadn't.

I'd been on holiday in Thailand for a month or so, met lots of interesting people including one German guy called Michael who happened to have no hands, he had various apendages he attached like hooks or plastic hands when he was going out.

Then I met up with this Aussie guy called Charlie ( I'm not gay or anything just people I met on holiday ) who was great, but really full on, and got on my tits after a while.

One evening he was regaling me with his latest ideas on budhism, when Michael walked into the bar wearing his plastic hands, we said hello, and Charlie over exuberant as always said who's your friend., and to my shame I said Hans. He walked right over to shake hands with him saying Hi hands, the looks on their faces as they tried to shake hands ran the entire gamut of emotions from embarrasement to confusion.

Both were great guys, wish I'd never said that

See I've got this idea of a mash/medley of Mingus's "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat" with "Suicide is Painless" (the theme from Mash) which although may be in a different key can be easily transcribed, for a totally depressing minor key instrumental medley.
