Enlightenment

I thought I would start a thread on enlightenment on VEF and elicit members opinions on the following statement. I am far more likely to communicate with
people with fewer sexual hangups on this forum therefore said people are far more self aware and consequently closer to enlightenment. Please feel free to express your opinions.

There are two stages to enlightenment.

1st: When you realize you are put on this Earth to make other people happy.

2nd: When you realize you can't make other people happy, so you become "other people".

I'm enlightened in the sense that until I visited this forum I didn't know you could get a man's fist up a woman's arsehole or that there was anyone in the world who would want to do that or have it done..

hmm... intersection of enlightenment and VEF... how about tantric sex? the idea that you can manipulate the body's energy through the sexual act?

my expertise mostly consists of owning a book about it, but have noticed that the mere mention of the book seems to put women in a good mood. :P indeed it seems that women can achieve tremendously prolonged orgasms via tantric sex, so there's some good potential angles for a man with time on his hands...

I have a fair bit of experience with Yoga and I agree with your comment with respect to women achieveing prolonged orgasms via tantric sex. I think this comes about because from the male perspective Tantric sex teaches the male how to control and prolong his erection without climaxeing. in Tantric sex timeing and shareing is everything and the sexual act becomes an act of worship and teaches how to raise energy through the Chakras.

All jokes aside, true Enlightenment can only be reached by giving up desires attachments, and aversions. Afterall, it is these things that keep us coming back in the endless cycle of rebirth - and not always in human form, but also animal, hungry ghosts, hell beings, or gods and demi-gods. All I can say is that until I give up my attachment to vintage porn (and VEF...that goes without saying!) which may very well be the last thing for me to give up, I will, sadly, never attain true Enlightenment in this life
