Well, you and a milf

I've had some nightmare neighbours myself. One guy was a weightlifter, so at 3am you would hear the bang bang as he set the weights down along with Queen playing in the background. Solution 100 watt amp cranked to 11 with a crash chord, then leave the guitar against it creating feedback. Even I winced.

I've done this a couple of times at my backyard neighbor.

It started when he told me if I didn't like his noise that I should get a bigger stereo.

I've never even come close to bringing out the entire arsenal.

I have experienced bad bad bad neighbours, noisy and unrespectful people, stupid teens, young 20s and old bitches.
Plan to move to a better place or get money for a good lawyer. I chose to move to country side in a single family 2 floors apartment. The only noises are birds and sometimes storms.

In my old house, I had a couple that argued.......both a pair of drunks. When I banged on the wall, they banged back.
Big mistake. Huge.
Next morning at 06.00, I wheeled my Laney Ironheart stack and plugged in my strat........and screamed the fucking strings till my fingers hurt, I mean, I fucking ripped the arse out of it.
their subsequent 'rows' were minimal and acceptable.
They were lucky I didn't take up the drums!

A delay pedal is fun. Pluck a note rest your axe against your stack and make them suffer.

Thanks for the tip BB, I used a BOSS Metal MT-2 pedal. It did the trick.

i suffered that kind of bollocks too... kept my distance from a similar lady at a past workplace, only to finally tell myself "feck it, i'm game if she is" and then to find out she'd suddenly gone all religious overnight and threatened to report me to the bosses when i finally gave her some of the come on back she'd given me for weeks.... go figure??

As for the neighbours issue..... try living in a shared house, with one of the other two guys on the dole (benefits) and who insisted on spending nearly every penny of that dole cheque every other tuesday getting totally blotto... he was fine when half drunk, and quite amusing, but as he tipped over the point with that extra half pint he then became an animal and really very aggressive for no reason fathomable...? he would then hide away in his room for two days; sobering up most likely; and then act like nothing had occurred while drunk again, even laughing when you tried to explain to him about it. Over the course of three years i tolerated three or four more guys of a similar disposition, including another who used to do no more than walk up to my door when drunk, grunt and yell loudly for thirty seconds or so like a wounded bear, and then storm off....!!?? another one who feigned little knowledge of his actions when sober again.

I also suffered at the hands of a keen weightlifter, who would for some reason lift them while stood out on the landing right above my room, rather than down the hall in his own room; after several attempts to reason with him I cut off all 'favours'; no letting him use my kettle or lending milk, sugar, coffee, when he was short of money; no helping by putting his electric on the 'stick' for him when i walked the two miles to the shop in the snow or cold for my own, and generally ignored him as much as i could... he soon got the message and made mouse like noise from then on.... knowing that should he stray he'd have long walks and no hot drinks again....

Default Neighbour's from hell

I've had 2 first one. My wife and I made a mistake and not really checking the neighbours on either side of a property we liked. We loved the house we saw and it was cheap.. So we bought. It was only after shifting in we found one neighbour to be feral.. At first ok. Then when Winter came we were constantly cleaning out our gutters. When you looked at his place he had so many Gum trees in his property that the trunk's were fighting for room. Then the music started. Anytime of day Wednesday 3 am Eminem etc. Music got more and more constant. Loud I mean really LOUD and again any day of the week. We could do very little because he had a kid that never went to school and a gang of friends. So if you called the police, you know you'll get up the next day and your car will be wrecked.. They were very lucky people because I became associated with a Bikie and he said one word and they will have all their leg's broken.. I told him don't worry we will shift.. All the time through the sales we were nervous that the music would come on etc. and people would check out their property.. A few did but eventually we sold and got good money.. LESSON CHECK THE NEIGHBOURS ALL AROUND BEFORE SIGNING UP.

Default 2nd Neighbour

After selling that house we built a new one. When shifting in there was a Filipina down the road and she seemed nice and her husband was ok. So I encouraged my wife to become friends because my wife's Filipina. At first ok. But I noticed her husband was always complaining about his new neighbour and at first I was thinking his neighbours an idiot. I felt for him because just going through having a bad neighbour myself. So we decided to help each other out to get our houses' established. But as time went on I found myself giving him stuff and when it came time for to him to return the favour there was always an excuse. He was a real good talker and I'm not. Then he would turn up unannounced, that was ok but I started to notice he was complaining about his friends alot. Then it went from friends to his wife. His wife's very attractive bit tough but I would not complain about her. It started to occur to me that if he's saying this about these people what's he saying about me. It was then I noticed the street had gone from a friendly feel to some what distant and people stopped talking to each other except him and a few core residents. I worked it out he's a Sociopath and he will bad mouth everyone in the street except the one's he need's the most. Like the plumber, electrician and the toolmaker that live in the street. I gave him the name Esme Watson (a country practise). I noticed him going from house to house. He complains on how hard he's been done by and people feel sorry and give him stuff... The best thing for me was I STOPPED ANSWERING THE DOOR. I dumped him but I bet he tells everyone the opposite. It took a few years but I think people are working him out.. The Christmas parties were huge in the street (we never attended) but now just the core group he hasn't made stories up about... If your a member here MATTHEW K. You're a complete lying dickhead...
