Are you addressing the strategy, or the issue I mentioned. I'm guessing the latter

This is where I make myself unpopular again. To be straight with you -- what else -- I have a Russian view of homosexuality. I accept it's natural in most cases, because I think it's due to genetic defects. Genetic defects can also make us vulnerable to cancer and much else. All of it is natural, and so far there's little we can do about it

But I don't think homosexuality is "normal". Normal is when something is to be expected, or corresponding to a norm or standard. Since only about 2% of humans are homosexual and 98% aren't, it's clear what is and isn't normal

For that and many other reasons, I don't agree with abuse of homosexuals. But I don't want to want to know people's sexual preferences either, and wish they would shuttup about them

As for homo-partnerships, I have nothing against them living together, or even registering partnerships. They can have multiple partnerships for all I care. But marriage is different. Nearly all people hope marriage will be productive, but homo-partnerships can't be, and that's what makes the big difference

but then should old people not be allowed to marry? Or infertile people?

Or polygamy that can be extremely productive ask the Mormons.
