Default Desert Island discs

Most of you will know what this is about but for those who have never heard of this long running Radio show,basically you pick 8 songs and 1 book to take on a desert island.I'm giving the vintage erotica forum members a pick of 10 songs/pieces of music,not full albums and 10 books.Here's my selection;MUSIC-1-Waiting for an Alibi-Thin Lizzy;2-Green tinted Sixties mind-Mr Big;3-Here I go Again-Whitesnake;4-Winter-Tori Amos;5-Moments of pleasure-Kate Bush;6-Taurus 3-Mike Oldfield;7-Black Dog-Led Zeppelin;8-Rainbow Child -Dan Reed Network;9-The Battle-Gladiator Soundtrack;10-When I see You Smile(acoustic version)-John Waite.BOOKS-1-The Anubis Gates-Tim Powers;2-The Complete Sherlock Holmes Stories-Arthur Conan Doyle;3-The Magus-John Fowles;4-Mythago Wood-Robert Holdstock;5-Ghost Story-Peter Straub;6-Ghost Stories-M R James;7-The Bachman Books-Stephen King;8-L A Confidential-James Ellroy;9-The End Of The Affair-Graham Green;10-The Lord Of The Rings-J R R Tolkien.I'm curious to see what everybody else posts

Comfortably Numb/Live Version from Pulse
Vagabond Moon - Willie Nile
Gideon's Oboe - Ennio Morricone from The Mission
Sixteen Shells From A Thirty-Ought Six - Tom Waits

thanks jonny99,some great tunes,I like a few of those as well, especially the Damn Yankees one and I've read quite a few of your book choices,it's only when you try to limit yourself to 10 that you have to leave out some favourites.

You are also allowed one luxury item. I forget which guest it was, but one asked to have an inflatable doll to keep him company.
As for my list, I'll give it some thought.
