He's not perky though but yes we all regularly get our bulletins as well from El Presidente ,but they`re not bi-monthly they`re put in our boxes whenever something has been done or he wants to complain. The one before last let us know the lifts had been cleaned . Still what he really meant was the picture of Albert Steptoe having a bath which had been sellotaped to the mirror was now removed This one in fact Yes i am that childish in real life folks Best bit was that like your Supremo old Julie had misspelled the word damage in his vital dispatch to the troops and had written dumage instead Me being me i quickly printed out a bulletin of my own for him pointing out his mistake He blamed spell checker Mind you it couldn`t have worked out better because the last few times i`ve been in earshot of him i gently do the tune to Steptoe which of course goes " Dum dum dum dumdum dum dum dumdumdum " " You see what you get Julie ! , you see what you get when you mess with GS ! "

Used to be an old guy who walked around my neighbourhood yelling "there's no back doors in my house" and "there was no sausage rolls in Belfast in 1921" I don't have a back door as such, it's a side door. And I have no idea about the sausage roll situation in Belfast in 1921.

When I lived in Gainsborough there was a bloke living there who sold his house to buy a barrel-type thing that he intended to row across the Atlantic in. When he got to the beach he started (I think) but the Coastguard remonstrated with him and he gave up and tried to set fire to the barrel. The story don't say what happened after that, as some old folk tales say. I never found out, anyway (the trying to set fire to the barrel bit was on the TV news, though).
For years afterwards, if I told anyone I came from Gainsborough, they'd say, "That's the same place as that nutter who wanted to row across the atlantic - they must all be mad there." |

Does it have a fire exit in case you burn your sausage rolls? I had a nice sausage roll today from an old fashioned bakery in Belfast The best sausage rolls in the world hail from Australia. Along with pies you aussies have it down to a tee.

Excellent thread I will go with the loony i see the most my next open cubical neighbour .He is a huge gossip and is always ear wigging . Is a foot shorter than me and about 10 stone lighter. Always wears grey shoes no matter what so i will call him ...... arsehole He calls me peter to be funny like in the family guy . Has a photo by his pc which im sure came with the frame. One of those singing sea basses that werent even funny when they were funny and a money plant that has been slowly dying since he first put it on his desk. I did try to say that maybe like most plants it needed direct sunlight but he stared at me like i was talking a different language .He mumbles when he is on the phone just enough so i can hear him but cant hear what he says .He also texts a lot but has set his mobile so it makes a beep every time he hits a letter. Doesnt sound a big deal but it is because its him doing the beeping.Cant stand him and i would say neither can two thirds of the floor. The only reason the other third doesnt dislike him to is they havent met him so dont know him .Wish i was part of that third
