I just went through this entire section, 339 pages at this point in time, to see if there were any "Catch all" threads as described in this other post of mine. (Since I was thinking of putting up someone who didn't seem deserving of her own thread.) What I've learned is that every "Softcore Model," no matter how obscure, is allowed to have her own thread.

When I arrived at page 339, I felt sorry for the last one who hasn't seen the light of day at VEF for fifteen years. I thought I should remedy this unfairness by putting up a post for her. Unfortunately, I could find nothing for "Seija Rainio." The next one on the list (second-to-last, named "Michelle Aberg") also came up zip, but this third-from-the-last lady led to paydirt.

I was working on a post for Yvette Vickers (here it is), and I offered thoughts as to why Yvette Vickers should have never been listed in the "Softcore Models" section. Actually, the same reasons apply exactly for Ana Zanatti. As may be seen from the one and only other post so far on her thread (by Member "Erzengel," above), Ana was (and still is) an actress. She has had a film and television career for decades. Just because she took her clothes off for one movie does not mean she was deserving of being relegated into the "softcore" category.



That film was Die Liebesbriefe einer portugiesischen Nonne (1977) or Love Letters from a Portuguese Nun, a film that has its own VEF thread here. It seems to be a rare effort from hit-or-miss director Jess Franco that worked. The screen grabs from above and below are mine, and not lifted from anywhere:




One gets a better idea of the lady from her IMDb page. Her first credit was in 1960, when she was eleven, and her last credit is slated for release in 2022. That is a highly impressive run; Anna calls to have been listed in the "Classic Celebrities" section; she is not a pin-up girl.

Ana has also worked as a writer. Among numerous writing credits, she has scripted 120 episodes of the 1988-89 Portugese television series, Passerelle.
