. . . in an issue of High Society. date of appearance unknown to me. Fortunately, the spread was reprinted in The Very Best of High Society No. 25. (On the cover is "Retailer: Display until May 14, 1990," which should give an approximate date of the reprint's publication.)

And here's the headshot of the lady without the text, plus an attempt to get as much as possible of the one-and-a-fraction page pic of her in one scan (lost part of the boot, but gained a well-formed thigh), and separate scans of the two photos taking up less than half a page:




It's possible that this is not all of the spread which was in an earlier issue of High Society. The same issue of The Very Best of reprints a spread with Carol Cummings and Stephanie Rage, but the reprint omits the last two pages which were in the original appearance, which I fortunately have (and have posted in the Carol Cummings thread). There also might have been an additional photo or two of Ms. Dare on the contents page and/or in the front matter. If I acquire a copy of the magazine with the original appearance, I'll add additional pics, if there are any.

I don't think these pics have appeared previously in this thread (though there are some pics of the lady in what might be the same red boots in earlier postings), but if I'm wrong about that, let me know.

. . . is shown in a short piece in High Society for March 1988, describing a rock group called "Ambition" which she was backing back then (financially, I assume). Here's the piece, with the conclusion of another item not concerned with Ms. Dare whited out, plus separate scans of the three photos accompanying the piece:




Like all beautiful women, the lady looks great fully clothed, but I'm grateful for that nifty shot of her splendid legs.

I wonder if the group ever did cut a record . . . or, since this was at the time that CDs were making viny extinct, at least a CD-R?

Only the last two full pages in the Erotic Stars spread look to me like they're duplicated in any of the previous postings (both the two-page pic and the small inset), but my scans have higher res. than those previous appearances, so I decided not to cave in (sorry!) and left them in. Some of the other pics in the earlier postings are very similar to some in the Erotic Stars spread, but there are slight differences. For example, the first of the separate scans above is similar to one of the photos in the Live spread, but Barbara's hands are positioned differently on Spears' shoulders.
