Imagine needing to refresh a page all those 3,499,579 times before a thanks is registered by the forum.

I've begun to notice something with the popup box when a "Thank You", is rejected..
.
Each time I've noticed that the box, I do the refresh.
But then I noticed the list of thank you's has grown by 2 or 3..
.
I surmise the possibility the cause of the reject box is displayed
whenever 2 or more people try to thank a post at the same time..
.
Sure it seem improbable, but consider the reject box mostly appears on well visited threads on the VEF..

This may be the case for you too, here with a trackpad/touchpad * that is too small and fingers that are too big, it's often as if you mistakenly type an right-click that gives the same error message

I never had this problem of having to redo the Thanks more than once until I hit your post Thanks button. Right now it took me 3 trys.

But if you go read the very top of the page it say's:

It happens to me too. Every time I tried to search for something, e.g. search for "Playboy USA March 1990", I get "502: Bad Gateway" error.

my days of html writing and de-bugging..

I think the way this should have been handled is as follows.

You hit Thanks. Then the Error Box appears. Click Error Ok. You refresh.
You then Thanks. Error comes back.
This is where I think you should have Backed Out or went into Reverse.

No, I can't see what you're talking about.

Both of those messages have been there for some time.

There is the word 'Service' which is in a different font which I have not seen before.

Which part of your scan are you talking about?
