So for every serial killer or murderer that has been caught in U.S. history, there might conceivably be 100 or 1000 serial killers and murderers that are never caught or known to exist?

I believe the number of abused spouses, children, etc. that run away from their situation greatly outnumber the victims of criminals. As to why they run away, I don't remember ever reading any surveys of them. So the total number of missing is not comparable to the number of victims of serial killers. Any change to the reasons why they run away would not effect the number of those murdered by serial killers, I would think.

From what I understand, the most successful serial killers preyed on prostitutes, homeless, runaways, etc. - lowering the likelihood that the victim would be reported missing. I have never heard any theories that suggest that higher numbers of runaways lead to more victims of serial killers, but I guess anything is possible.

Look I do not support child abuse in any form what so ever but your lethal abuse did not show me any thing except the unemployment rate per state and comes from 2007.

I also don't see the correlation between SB's and the abuse.
I am not trying to nit pick you because it is a very deep cause for concern any where IMO but ???.

Boris lost all credibility for me when he got stuck on that zip wire around the London 2012 Olympics and left dangling like a right muppet. I was astounded he was made Foreign Secretary and if he ever runs for PM it will be a disaster for Britain, but Nigel Farage he might be back and who knows still be a complete oaf!
