Ex-Porn Star Harmony Rose, AKA Tracy Rolan, Volunteers As EMT

This EMT trainee has experience getting the blood flowing.

Harmony Rose, whose birth name is Tracy Rolan, was featured in more than 200 pornographic videos between 2004 and 2010. Her videos include "Masturbation Nation 3," "Farmer's Daughters Take It Off" and "Sack Lunch."

Rose, 29, has since left the adult entertainment industry, WDBJ 7 reports, and she's training as a volunteer EMT with the Cave Spring Rescue Squad in Roanoke, VA, for the past few months. Now some officials are getting hot and bothered over her participation.

Exactly when Rose left the industry is unclear, though IMDB lists her most recent credit as occurring in 2010.

Fire Chief Rich Burch learned about Rose's previous career from Roanoke Fire & Rescue employees, Director of Public Information Teresa Hall told the Huffington Post. Having never dealt with such a situation before, Burch contacted the Office of the County Attorney.

Attorney Paul M. Mahoney replied on June 27. In a letter obtained by the Huffington Post, Mahoney stated that Roanoke County does not generally get involved in the decisions of volunteer rescue squads. However, the attorney also noted, "Anything that results in public ridicule of the volunteer squads . . . must be avoided."

Mahoney then recommended that Burch "supports the decision of the volunteer chief if she decides to terminate the membership of [Rose]."

The community, however, seems to be on Rose's side. Of the over 500 comments that appear under the story on WDBJ's Facebook page, nearly all support Rose's continued work with the rescue squad.

"I believe if you or a loved one is having a true medical emergency," Jonathan Whorley wrote, "your [sic] not going to care about the former occupation of the person helping you."

"It's not like she was doing porn in the squad building," Theodore Hughes pointed out.

Since the publication of WDBJ's article, the station has been slammed for encouraging readers to look up Rose's work. The original version of the article included a linked sentence that read, "Just Google her name and you’ll find hundreds of pornographic videos of hers." The station later took the link down.

Harmony Rose is still training as a volunteer EMT.

Roanoke County leaders in collusion with executives at WDBJ7 have seemingly manufactured a smear campaign against EMT volunteer Tracy Rolan. This depraved lapse in Journalistic ethics has created a “legitimate” reason to remove Rolan from the rescue squad. County Attorney Paul Mahoney has implied that the former sex worker may not be capable of maintaining “trustworthiness” or “public esteem,” and that he would support the firing of Rolan only if it caused embarrassment for local emergency response workers, as this manufactured “controversy” was designed to do.
It seems clear that Justin McLeod has no respect for women, journalism, or the Emergency Response workers of Roanoke County. Instead of informative local news, Roanoke is left with this scumfuck tabloid rubbish which failed to even name Rolan, reducing her from a human into an objectified persona created only for porn.
In response to the manufactured “controversy,” WDBJ7 has removed the suggestion to google Rolan’s porn videos. Insiders from Burlington Coat Factory report that within WDBJ7, the issue has not been mentioned by managers, and totally “swept under the rug.”
Last Summer reporter Holly Pietrzak of WDBJ7 accidentally uttered the word “fuck” on television and, according to an anonymous source, was quickly suspended for several days. According to a statement made on Roanoke.com, “Pietrzak, who has been a reporter and weekend anchorwoman at the station since 2005, apologized at the end of the broadcast. She deferred all comment to Marks, who said that she won’t face any disciplinary action.” Lies! This disgusting attitude towards women and truth has come to be business as usual for the scum-sucking liars at the world’s worst local news station, WDBJ7.

Our anonymous source from Burlington Coat Factory has also stated that Justin McLeod, hatemongering writer of this sexist smear, faces no disciplinary action, nor does Dan Dennison, News Director. Floods of prank 911 calls from the Cave Spring area, mostly residents allegedly suffering “priapism,” have caused delays for emergency workers. Tracy Rolan has not yet made comment, however, but if there is any justice, she will sue the everliving hell out of WDBJ7.

Her Mum had a greater claim to being rock royalty, or at least minor nobility, being a wonderful foil to Jools Holland on the Tube, daughter of Rockin' Jess and she also looked a damn sight better in her Penthouse spread than Peaches will ever manage.

Roberta Winterton wasn't the only serving soldier to get into hot water after posing for the Sun. A couple of years later, Army medic Mandy Curtis who had already been disciplined for having an affair with a married NCO at her army camp, sold her story to the Sun, who illustrated it with a few pics- though I don't recall whether she actually went topless at that stage of the story.

...and from the same source, another one I'd forgotten. It seems Oxford University didn't have much of a sense of humour about their students posing nude in the 1990's either, although in this case, at least she managed to avoid getting thrown out. In 1993 (or 1995, depending on which account you read), at the Oxford May Ball, student Jocelyn Witchard stripped off and dived into the River Cherwell, an act which was caught by one of the press photographers the event seems to attract.

Jocelyn appeared in several papers the following day, which led to the Sun offering her a Page 3 shoot, resulting in some short-term fame over that summer.
The authorities of St Hilda's College weren't impressed by the image this was presenting of the college, and Jocelyn was forced to make a formal apology (apparently under thread of losing a scholarship) and turn down any further interviews, modelling offers etc.

Some years ago, the adjutant of the Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team, a Captain whose name I fail to remember, was chucked out for appearing in Mayfair! Sadly I can not find the pics, but I am certain someone will!
