Oh yes in the excitement of getting the ID for Alexis Capaldi I forgot what this thread was for.

My avatar is from the Admiral Krag collection she just completely blew me away, I had to have her and as unfortunately we have to spend some time in reality the photo was the best I could do.

No offence, but the title of the thread is What's the story behind your avatar? and a lot of us already knew that it was you. Please tell us, if you can, the story behind the photo. Was it a special occasion? Who took it? What is its significance to you that you chose it as your avatar, when presumably you might have chosen a thousand others? Were you/are you a model etc etc. I'm positive I'm not the only one who wants to know and, before anyone else asks, I don't suppose you would post a higher res version of it? You are a darn sight lovelier to look at than a lot of what is posted on VEF (and most of that is great).
