Spent a few hours sorting out the garage which has for too long been a dumping ground, with one corner inaccessible for some years, so decided to have a good strong nightcap.

Not a patch on Zubrowka but tolerable.

Today's drink is from Germany. Kostritzer Schwarzbier Germany's Black Lager. Pours a jet black color with an alcohol content of 4.8%. Taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, black tea, and a faint taste of caramel. Very good overall.

So, thought I'd be community spirited and make a post myself so this page could be opened by that member just so he could be inspired to have some drinks himself, not that I think he needs it

Thanks E. Yes, After I made my beer post the page would not open even though the post was listed on my subscription page. And as for you becoming an alcoholic I think you already may be on the way considering how much beer you drink now!

I just discovered a new drink sensation: Jumex (pronounced "WHO-mex" in Spanish) brand fruit nectars, including one that is a coconut/pineapple blend, perfect for just adding rum and making a piña colada. They also sell guava nectar, mandarin nectar, and peach nectar in addition to the coconut/pineapple blend. And they're only about $1.50 at the store...

In the winter, rarely.
In the summer, if there's time after a round of golf we'll have one or two in the clubhouse before heading home.

With BBQ during summer, always, but never more than about 6 or 8.

Just at home being a bum like right now, maybe 4 a week total.

Because I spill most of it.

Dry weekend for me. Had too much last night and think I was still pissed at work this morning.

Clear head needed for Sunday - in fact next three Sundays.
