A possible aka for Fred Enke is David Hinton.

David Hinton was credited for the set of Shelagh Murray in Mayfair 10-06, 1975-06, thanks to MayfairFan. Note the cut-off shorts & red scarf.

So, is that too tenuous? Yes, the shorts and scarf may have been the model's, but note also the stylistic repetition of the model sitting inside a window, i.e. almost as if exiting the room.

As yet, the only other known credits for David Hinton are:

A possible aka for Larry Caye is Ben Kitay.

These pics. of Tarri Micas as Wendy in Beaver, date unknown, were credited to Ben Kitay, yet clearly are from known Larry Caye settings--red pattern chair, stained-glass window, etc.

The name Ben Kitay is also credited for a set of Carrie Sellars as Jody in Beaver, 1977-12, see here. Sellars (as Allison Dexter) was a Latent Image model but it's not clear to me whether that was a Caye setting.

A third credit for Ben Kitay is Karen in Knave 10-02, 1978-02, scans thanks to Cream Cheese. I recognise neither the setting or model as Caye-related.

So, perhaps Ben Kitay wasn't an aka for Larry Caye after all? Maybe just a re-seller who happened to have Caye's pics. of Tarri Micas to sell? That seems slightly odd, though, given that Beaver was a US mag.

edit: a fourth listing for Ben Kitay: Tammy in Adam 22-04, 1978. Sorry about the poor images.

A set of Jacquie credited to Wavelength, an alias of Stephen Hicks, appeared in Men Only 52-11 (1987).

A probable aka for Ed Holzman is Ed England.

I had earlier wondered if that might be the case but have now found some evidence of linkage, i.e. related photos.

Debbie Tays:
  • as Carole in Fiesta 16-11, 1982-11, by Ed Holzman, see here.
  • as Kathy in Swank, 1982-12. by Ed England, see here.

Further to this post:

In Lib (Es) 02-52, 1977-10-24, thanks to Fleabag, pics. of Inga Britt as Inga in that same setting are credited not to Hans Larsson but instead to Flodquist.

Another possible aka for John Allum is Brad Williams.

Verona Sampson:
  • in Mayfair 18-01, 1983-01 was credited to John Allum, see here.
  • in Cheap Thrills 01-05, 1990 was credited to Brad Williams, see here.

So, could Jan (or Yan) Svensson be an aka for Serge Jacques?
Here is a pictorial credited to Jan Svensson in Knave vol. 19 no 11, thanks to nikki87:

To me, either that is confirming the name of Svensson was used as an alias of Jacques, either that is was used by Claudie Perrin when she worked as photographer for Jacques' production, in addition to the alias of Sarah Joyce.

And we can also note that she shot pictorials of Diane Fullerton on other occasions, so may be this was the case for the one credited to Yan Svensson in Mayfair, shot in a set of "salty snow" frequently used by S. Jacques?

Yes. It may have been both/either. To me it shows that Claudie's photog. work started in collaboration with Serge Jacques. That is, at least for awhile she did not do so completely independently of him. Only logical, really, as one has to start/learn somewhere. There's (probably) also the business side of things: contacts with models & with outlets for the work: publishers.

----

It reminds me of the Australian model & later photog. Bambi. Her POM set was taken by Nick Brokensha. Later she worked with him on make-up & styling, etc. She served an "apprenticeship" (of sorts) with him before becoming a photog. in her own right. She credited him with teaching her a great deal about the business, particularly about the importance of getting the model to relax in order to express her beauty/personality. Brokensha copped criticism for the way Bambi appeared in her POM pictorial--I think "goofy" was alleged, rather harshly--but the look they captured was honest/true to herself. Anyway, that's tangential but I think there's some parallel in terms of their professional development/mentoring.

Yes, sure thing effCup. At this time, she was married to Jacques and was also giving all her work to him, so he could sell it however he wanted (hence the various credits featuring on her work).
Another point is that she made all of her photographs in the same Serge Jacques' style, since that was what he was asking her to, for business reasons.
I think that explains why she didn't carry on working as photographer after they divorced.

Right, I didn't know that. So then there probably never will be a clear distinction (in terms of photog. aliases/akas) that separates Serge Jacques from Claudie Perrin. Although she's a separate person she acted as part of his company/operation. So then Sarah Joyce, Jan Svensson, etc. are all still "Serge Jacques & co.", rather than clearly/necessarily identifying Claudie as distinct from Serge.
