I don't currently have an example of the first generation stamping. But I do have a good example of the stamping on prints which were sold. This example features Gaye Gibson aka Julia Parton. All genuine TLI prints will be so stamped.

Here's an example of one of his early black & white glamour photos. This one has been glued onto an editor's board so it probably appears in a magazine somewhere.

The printed page numbers reflect the form of the original separate documents and my file names reflect the page numbers of the combined catalog (not my scans).

Has this catalog been uploaded here?

I'm confused by your question. It has been uploaded in the post you quote. I don't know where I found it originally but as far as I know it does not appear elsewhere on VEF.

Here are censored examples of the catalogs with Traci Lords I alluded to earlier (not my scans).

Well then, here's a wee experiment. In Mayfair 17-01, 1982-01 the model named Joy Manders is listed in the TOC as being photographed by Larry Coye [sic]. So, I suspect she might have appeared in a The Latent Image catalogue at some point, under whatever name I've not the faintest clue?

Apart from her Mayfair pictorial the only other appearances of hers found so far are in Schlüsselloch, but maybe there's more we just haven't discovered/connected yet?

Is this a suitable post here, or do you feel it's too much like a fishing expedition? I'm not asking for a model id, although that may also transpire should she be found in one of Larry's catalogues & it leads to more of her stuff. /shrug/

Well, one of the objectives here is to put more common names to some of the TLI models and conversely to put TLI names to others for whom we have none or only a magazine name. The only thing I do not want are models and photo shoots which are not linked to Larry Caye one way or another. By the way, if you see obvious Larry Caye material in a magazine using another name for the photographer sing out.

As to your example I think I would have remembered that lingerie and setting and it doesn't ring a bell. I also haven't heard that name before so I've added it to the database. Larry does seem to have had material published in Mayfair so you should find some good info here eventually.

Here's a 24 page print catalog which I found on an auction site but I believe the auction was already closed at the time. The file names say 1991 but it could be 1990. The images are poor but they'll have to do until better scans become available and pages 2 and 3 are missing.

I don't want this to turn into a model id thread even though this is one of our objectives. I'm just not sure how I want to handle that, yet. For now suffice it to say there are many familiar models in the catalogs having unfamiliar names. Some of these may be the girls' real names, some changed their stage name later, and some may of used a particular name only for TLI. Some I've seen are Ann Dickerson (Blake Mitchell), April Thompson (April Maye), Brandy Cruise (Dina DeVille), Cecely Donovan (Chrissy Beauchamp), Rhonda Lee (Rachel Ashley), etc, etc, etc.

The Main catalog for the year was published first then the Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn supplements were normally published in this order. Additionally there were special catalogs or supplements published at random times such as for slides, prints or videos only. Here is the 1991 Winter Supplement (my scans). The way you see it here is the same way you would see it unfolded.

Here's a novelty. It's a common style postcard from 1964 with a scantily clad girl on the front but on the back the scene is given a title and the photographer is credited!

Now here is the 1991 Spring Supplement. Once again the scans have been arranged as if it were unfolded and being viewed (my scans).

And now for a mystery. The pics quoted below are from the Christina Lee thread where there are also more from this set. These are marked as being from DDG (J. Stephen Hicks) studios and are copyrighted 1999. If we look at the previous post on page 6 we see Larry was offering slides from this same shoot at least as early as 1991.

Now here is a slide set from this shoot. So the question is which came first, the Larry Caye chicken or the J. Stephen Hicks egg? We believe TLI folded in 1997 so it seems reasonable Hicks may have bought the rights to some of Caye's material. If you can shed any light on this by all means please speak up.

Edit: It has since become evident Larry did sometimes purchase material, or the rights to market it, from other photographers.
