Mega worked great for me. My oldest upload is from 06-15-2013 and it is still online.
It might go down - as any site. There were some rumors about it (mainly KimDotCom dissing them on twitter).
Big plus is that you can organzize everything in folders, but I don't know if other sites offer this as well. Speed is top and no ads.

You mean cross site uploading like in the FTP era with FXP? I think there is/was an option to share between several Mega accounts if you use the friends feature. But never tested it. 50 GB is enough for me given my slow upload speed.

He has no ties to the current Mega.co.nz. He has dissed them and said they are not reliable or give out privacy informations to government. And vice versa. But any file hoster could do this under the right circumstances and give the fact that they are now enemies - I wouldn't read to much into it.

As pferdewurst said - he already announced Megaupload 2.0 5 month ago and also announced a new way to integrate cryptocurrencies (bitcache) which shall solve all problems with bitcoin and make it mainstream

I was using mega.nz to mirror files uploaded to 1fichier until I maxed out my 50GB of free storage a year or so ago. The links are mostly still working.

Just to see if it might work, I recently registered a second account at mega from a different IP address, with a different email, username, password, etc.

I logged into mega from my home PC, which had a cookie for the original mega account with no more free storage space. So I logged out, and logged back in with the new account info, and got into the new account with no trouble.

So it seems I can mirror more files at mega, but only time will tell if the links stay good and the new account stays open.

I've had two accounts for over a year now and the files are still good on both of them. I don't believe you will have a problem.

I have just used Mega for the first time. Revelation. Instant access with no waiting on 2 successive downloads. No attempted scams. Fast download (1.5 Mbs). This is just as good as a premium on most other sites.

What is it about multiple links that bothers you?

Is it having to initiate each download?

If so you should use a file downloader, e.g. - JDownloader2 -

As good as Mega is from the downloader side the free uploader side isnt anywhere near it
or clear

From what i've read about Megas bandwidth it seems to be more than the 10GB per month
It says once the limit has been reached is refreshes and restores

10gb followed by another 10gb followed by ....?
