so I'm imagining that mediafire, zippyshare, filefactory, depositfiles, k2s, openload, wetransfer, dropbox and all the rest are working am I? no, you're obsessed with telling everyone what filehost they should use to suit you regardless of the fact that it is THEIR choice and the fact that you're not using any file host to upload to yourself.

If you want uploaders to move then you have to cover all the areas of a host
not just download speeds

-File retention - for free user accounts can vary from 15 - 90 days since last download
-Upload speeds - this one shouldnt be under estimated as HD files get bigger & bigger
-DMCA notice reaction - do they close your account or just remove the reported file?
-Bandwidth download / upload limits
-Extras - like filefactory allowing uploaders to give downloaders premium access

Hosts who are in the wrong countries seem to have 3-4 years of sunshine
that turns to shit when the mainstream movie / film / tv / music uploaders
start eating into the wrong peoples profits.

just bumped into this message posted on another forum - I don't know how true it is as I rarely use mega but if it is it renders the original posts here fairly pointless:

I suspect that limit disappeared awhile ago and was replaced with the current bizarre limit which reads 10 gb per month

Reviews mention this 10Gb of traffic when used up refreshes within 30 minutes
and it starts again - another drunk at the wheel

Safe to say your not being encouraged to use a Mega free account for mass downloads
for large files

If you want a comparison depositfiles has had bandwidth limits in place on all users including premium for many years -from memory - free users 5gb -premium users 20gb over a 3 day period

I seem to recall sometime last year that chap who set up Megaupload once, Kim dotcom said that he was working on a new version of megaupload which wouldn't be based where he could get into trouble with the law. I suppose like all things it is a case of 'watch this space' - shame, because I used to use megaupload and it was a lot convenient for uploading videos and when it disappeared I had to find another host and then try and repost nearly 100 video clips!!

I've been getting the following for some time now when I try to d/l w/Chrome: "Due to a rendering bug in Chrome browser, Mega cannot be used at this zoom level. Please either zoom in, zoom out, press crt/Command +) to reset the zoom level or switch to Fire Fox."

I can't get anything to work to get the d/l using chrome, but tested it last night & was able to get a d/l using Fire Fox.

What is this? Any way to get around this? I do have my Ad-Block on w/Chrome...

Perplexed....
