Yep, same here when I'm not signed in to premium account. It didn't happen before, guess they have to get by somehow too.

Default Old link format has died

Does anyone know of any 'tricks' to get around the out of date links in 1f? They have been saying for a while that the links were old, but always used to honor the connection. Now, it seems everything old is dead.

Attention !
Vous utilisez un ancien format de lien de téléchargement.
Celui-ci a été modifié depuis plusieurs années.
Vous devez utiliser le nouveau format de liens de téléchargement
Warning !
You are using an old download link format.
This have been changed since years.
You must use the new download link format

Thanks for your help.

Old link will have a format like this:

http://1234abc.1fichier.com

Take the numbers/letters in front, remove the .before 1fichier, add a ? in front of the numbers/letters and put that in back of 1fichier.com after a /. It's probably a good idea to add an "s" to the http as well.

New/good link should look like this:

https://1fichier.com/?1234abc

Another work around in addition the method Jenny48549 suggested is to down load the old 1fincher files with JDownloader2. ( I tested it today.)

Question Downloading passworded files

I am puzzled whether this is the correct thread, if not the correct rubric, to ask advice. If I am off-topic here, please excuse me.
When I download a file from 1fichier, I generally begin the download using Firefox while logged in at 1fichier, but I right-click on the download box, choose 'Copy download link', and splice that into an automatic downloading program. 1fichier almost always bombs out my first attempt to download a file from it. Then I face the mandatory waiting period to try again.
The automatic downloading program is typically much more successful.
But this is where I need advice.
Some uploaders here at V-E-F {including j4zz and 'henry miller'} specify a download password before giving the URL to the uploaded file. Password-protecting an uploaded file is a solid security move. But password-protecting the entry to the file cripples most attempts to give the file URL to the automatic downloading program.
Is there a bypass that I miss in order to provide the download password to the automatic downloading program?
If there is not, than can V-E-F kindly request to its uploaders to not password-protect the entry to the file?
Thank you.

If you use jdownloader2 you can load all of the passwords into an extraction list.

It will remember those passwords and automatically extract the file for you.

We use passwords for a variety of reasons. It helps disguise files uploaded to an account. It also prevents link stealing sometimes because they usually forget to add the password with the link when they steal it. It helps identify link stealers at other forums if we see a link posted with our passwords. For these reasons, we would rather not ask everyone to stop using passes for archives.

What I perhaps was unclear about is - in the case of Denaniel - he password protects his .rar or .7z file with his password. That is fine. That does not prevent me from referring the file to my downloading program.
But when a member requires a password be entered before getting the real URL to the file, that causes a problem which I am unable to solve.

If you are actually clicking on the links here in Firefox and then putting the links into the download program from the 1fichier download prompt, just type in the password at the prompt and click access to download.

You can then get the link and put it into the downloader as usual. The actual downloaded file that you get after that should not have a password as the example you give is actually an account access password for the file.

Default Premium offer Account

OK, I have one of those dumb questions.

I thought I had purchased a premium account from 1Fichier, and received an email from them saying they had received the money. Unfortunately my money didn't seem to change my download speed.
When I explored further my account status had changed to "Premium offer Account", but IDM only downloaded one thread at a time with limited speed. I have spent some time trying to activate my premium account but can't find how to do so.

I would be very appreciative if anyone could give me any hints how to activate my premium account, or let me know if I have been scammed! I'm kind of hoping that its some very obvious answer and that I will be embarrassed but have premium! Either way I think I will be embarrassed!!!

If this has already been discussed in this thread I apologize but would still like some advice.

Thanks
