Yes I frequently get the "loading" notice when browsing Imagebam galleries. Some pics in the gallery will open, others completely fail.

I hope the admin fixes this problem asap because this really sucks

No problems here, as of 1:27AM EST.
Maybe it was a temporary site maintenance issue. Seen that before.

Having an unusual problem using Firefox extension ImageHost Grabber to download from this post. The pictures are at ImageBam, which has been difficult recently, but it hasn't been behaving like this - aborting all requests saying the image can't be found on the page. That message usually means that the host doesn't have them at all, but they can be reached by clicking on the thumbnail. It happens with other ImageBam sites as well, but does the fault lie with the extension or the image host? Or me - anyone else getting this?

I found a solution here:

It was to update the add-on to the recent Beta, then make an adjustment in the Host File Editor.

ImageBam recently changed the location of the download URLs. This also means that any hotlinked images have stopped working.

On the bright side, this action should reduce the load on the ImageBam servers considerably.

having read all the back and forth on the websites i am thinking imagebam should be banned as a file host...

Well......it actually did say it was some sort of temporary "site maintenance"
thing......






but after close to a week, that "temporary" thing gets thrown out the window! lol
The weird thing is, that if I don't sign in, I'm being allowed to upload
photos. I'm using Firefox, and even tried to sign into Imagevenue with
another account there, but got the same result. The URL header, after
having trying to sign in and getting the page that's displayed in the photo
above.......reads "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable". Not sure if any of
this extra info might help anyone figure out what's going on here, but I
sure do hope so!

Thanks for this. ImageBam is now downloading fine using the latest Beta (July) and without my having to do anything else. Available here: http://imagehost-grabber.com/index.php?page=download
