What would it take for Stockings and Suspenders/Garters to make a big comeback?

I'm sure the vast majority of you probably agree that pantyhose suck. Also, that stockings without suspenders just don't have remotely the same sex appeal as silky little straps holding up a woman's nylons.

But seriously... other than turning back the clock to the 1940's and 1950's(Which obviously isn't an option)... what would it take to get most women into wearing stockings and suspenders again? I understand if they can't wear them due to age, medical reasons or general landscape of where they live, but is there any reason other than a few extra minutes a day that more women can't wear them? If a woman wears the right suspender belt, it can actually be comfortable(so I've heard). But in many ways they are more practical than hosiery. What would it take for women to start buying them and wearing them instead of the dreaded PH?

1 word, Shoes. I let the wife buy lots of shoes, she dresses up for me. In Britain we call that a score draw

If you ever tune into the late night chat channels you will see that fishnets, stockings and suspenders are still around for the models to wear-I miss those sort of pics in newspapers myself like The Sun, Star etc. of old.

Oh that would be wonderful. i am not a fan of pantyhose/tights; my wife wears them for work. She looks fabulous - she has great legs - but the thought of her wearing stockings and suspenders under her dress would be fantastic. Of course, when we go out and she dresses up, she does wear stockings for me. The anticipation is great, knowing that at some point in the evening she is going to get naughty and let me get my hands on her!

Yeah, turning back the clock to the 40ies or 50ies wouldn't be an option for many other reasons, too. It's up to women what they like to wear. If she decides to wear something that fits to your fetish fantasies by herself, I guess you should consider yourself lucky then.

What channels are these GM? Ex mrs BB said most birds only wore sussies etc when out on the pull. She could be right. In this weather it's bare legs and i'm not complaining.
