If you can call them tunes then the numerous three or two note jingles placed before or after adverts.

Conditioned reflexes so that we associate the sound with a company. Intel for example. The advertising world is a grubby sordid one where they will do anything visually or using audio to insidiously occupy our memory.

For this very reason I mute adverts or channel hop as soon as they appear.
