Default From Grease Monkeys and Maud Winchester

Have to agree with Bernard321 that the 2nd Grease Monkeys link doesn't work.

Also Maude Winchester link appears to have the same problem.

Anyone else finding a problem?

And for good measure I am providing alternative links for the two 'Grease Monkey' clips originally posted by 'costanza' on SpeedyShare:

Default Lost tapes 1957 -70 found

There's a report in today's Observer about the discovery of a treasure trove of British TV plays being found in the US Library of Congress.
They were originally broadcast by the BBC and the independent television companies Granada and Associated-Rediffusion between 1957 and 1970.
The programmes include works by Shakespeare, Chekhov and Ibsen, as well as new work written for weekly shows such as The Wednesday Play and Thursday Theatre.

I wonder if any of the Holy Grails will be amongst them.

Sex Olympics is the only one that maybe of interest but a lot is early sixties stuff, TBH i'd be surprised if it had any topless scene's.

Most of the film has been handed over to the BFI who have sat on the story since March, in fact most forums that deal with this subject are saying most of the material is not lost as described in the article.

A full list is being released tomorrow so fingers crossed, you never know

From my recollection there was nothing of interest (no real nudity or stimulating sex scenes) in the play "Sex Olympics", it simply played on the title to try and get an audience. If its the same one, then I well remember feeling totally conned after watching it.
The critics seem to enjoy it though, so you'll appreciate just how low on sexual content it was.

Thanks to 'reading67' for mention of that great find, I did study the 'Observer' article and it's certainly relevant to this thread though I suspect you will need membership of the BFI to gain access to the programs when they make it back from US to UK. To add to the posts from 'akane' and 'Bernard321' the program 'Year of The Sex Olympics' was shown as part of the 'Theatre 625' series on BBC2 in the summer of 1968 (BBC2 was then TX'ing in 625 lines I believe whereas BBC1 was still on 405 lines). However that program is already available (in B/W) on the grey market and it fails to live up to the title despite all the Sunday tabloid headlines it created at the time. I do have it and there is nothing worth posting on this thread or I would have done so (see my post @ #1145). However the missing 'Wednesday Plays' should be of more interest: I'm hoping that "Emma's Time" from 1970 will appear on the list. That my personal 'most wanted' as it features the only topless scene which Michele Dotrice ever performed.

Default Penny Brahms - Games That Lovers Play

Here is a clip of Penny's scenes, for some reason this absolutely gorgeous looking actress doesn't seem to have had much of a career according to IMDb, so enjoy this brief glimpse.
