H.R. Giger (E.L.P.)
H.R. Giger made album covers for Emerson Lake and Palmer....
One of Giger's most famous airbrushings... on the album cover of celtic frost (below).................. Debbie Harry.... Also made the creatures for the Alien movies . . . .

"Country Church" is all-time classic on "most bizarre album covers"-threads all around the planet. Right behind Butch Yelton & The Upbound`s "Gospel Axe". I refuse to post such an picture, because I have posted it before. No, because it shocks better if you search it by yourself.
Anyway, here`s Giorgio Moroder`s classic disco album from 80s As much I rate his groundbreakin musical work among other pioneer-acts like Space, Kraftwerk and Yellow Magic Orchestra, I still have to admit that his album-cover art is horrible... or immortal! |

Time to post some nice finds into this thread!
First we have deep buried symbolism from Alphataurus. I wouldn`t be surprised if they play introvert nearly unlistenable horrible prog rock with so genius lyrics that it makes Voynich Manuscript* look like a cheap bubblegum sticker: *) http://www.world-mysteries.com/sar_13.htm Next one just shows what happens if you listen too much bands like Alphataurus, spending most of your time smoking herb to help you "understand deeper". First thing you block out is Christmas tree, throwing it out in July is too late, actually a year is quite short time, so It`s ok to stay in and use it at next Christmas, why bother, relax. This is nice, one player is missing: ...Maybe it was a legal issue or something, or maybe bassist is been put into trunk. Anyway, to bring some very cool things into this post I add this YouTube-link of The Trons because if you really like weird and fun album covers shown in this thread you propably love The Trons! Robotic garage rock from New Zealand! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2JChnwv2Ws Last edited by Futuro; February 25th, 2010 at 11:34 PM.. |
