Some years ago, I first saw the movie "Street of a Thousand Pleasures." It was made in 1972, and I'm sure that many of you are familiar with the film. It has a dumb plot, and it's actually just an excuse to show dozens of lovely, nude women (then again, who needs an excuse?). Anyway, in the flick, Kathie Welch/Joan Higgins gets a relatively fair amount of screen time, as do Michelle Angelo, and Uschi Digart, among many others. Ever since I saw the movie, I've wondered who the beautiful redhead was, since it was an uncredited, non-speaking role. To those who've posted photos here, I offer my sincerest thanks, for solving a mystery that had been bothering me for years.

Performers like Rene Bond and Serena were big names at the time, and a number of recognizable models (off the top of my head: Donna Young, Karen Cooke, Terry Gibson, Linda McDowell, and of course, Kathie Welch) appeared (mostly in minor roles) in minor 'sexploitation' films many of which later made it onto today's IMDB.

Hardcore print porn emerged in the 1960s in the dry, clinical context of providing educational instruction for married couples. This has been described by some eBay sellers as eduporn, and persisted into the 1970s. Back then, the concept of unmarried partners engaging in recreational sex was still shocking to many. (The Pill was then a recent innovation dating only to 1960.)

A history of porn would be a good addition to this site, although I am woefully unqualified to write it.

Yes, that's her. I found her in "Marlon's, Don't know where else to put them" thread (#1700). She has gone by the names Kathy Welch, and Joan Higgins. I know Malta was the blond that the guy bought.
My understanding that this film started as a loop, then they expanded on it. Then they shot a few more scenes to make a movie.
