Those cell phone adapters that stick to peoples ears. They look like restarted cyborgs and is anyone really that important? I've answered back to dozens of people in grocery stores who just start talking- only to find it's one of those hands free thingys, and they aren't addressing me at all

Default Not giving credit where it's due.

Just finished watching Gosford Park on Film Four: now that I liked.

Credits compressed into an illegible third of the screen and title music talked over by some imbecile at the end. IMO that's bloody rude.

I needed to refer to google to discover that the excellent (and decidely cute) actress who played Mary Maceachran, Lady Trentham's lady's maid and the real detective in the mystery, was Kelly MacDonald, who first appeared as the jailbait Diane in Trainspotting. The two roles couldn't be more different. But why couldn't I be allowed to identify her by reading the credits? Who decided that credits are unnecessary and we viewers wouldn't be interested?

Default Direct debits

ALL big companies want us to use them as they are supposedly efficient.
Yet some companies (yes you SKY) keep f**king about with monthly payments and seem to find it impossible to manage their special offers.
A few years back I rang to cancel part of my subscription and was offered 3 months at £30 and the option to cancel after that which was fair, yet they managed to take £33 / 35 / 40 in succession.
Recently I took the option to take a sky+ box for £49.00 and broadband and telephones free for 3 months yet once again they have managed to bill me incorrectly. I rang them and asked why did they not just do what seems simple to me, set up the first 3 monthly debits as £0.00 and then apply the correct payment for month 4 onwards. However, some dopey broad from up North said that cannot be done and found it hard to understand why I was complaining. Come on SKY wakey wakey!!!!!
On the plus point the broadband service is top notch and I love my Sky+ box.
Just get your staff trained properly, please!

Default MP's expenses

I love the excuse they all use that their expenses claims are within the rules.
And who exactly made those rules? Could it be the MP's themselves - I think so.
If we could all choose the rules we wanted to apply to ourselves wouldn't it be luvverly.
The more that are culled over the new few months the better.
MP's - lemmings in suits.

Every cloud has a silver lining so they say. The MPs are being taught a lesson they will not quickly forget and arguably this whole story is one of democracy revenging itself on establishment corruption.

I may have been one of those when I travelled across New Zealand for 5 weeks many years ago. I had a rucksack and I used our public transport to get me to Manchester airport.
Mind you if you compare that to people who go to Spain for a week and take 3 suitcases I think it comes off quite well.
