Good post. Hmm... let's see:

#1 - 1984 VF500F Interceptor
#2 - 1986 600 Ninja
#3 - 1973 CB350F
#4 - 1979 RD400 Daytona Special
#5 - 1983 GPz 305
#6 - 1990 FZR600
#7 - 1991 FZR1000
#8 - 2002 YZF-R1
#9 - 2002 YZF-R1

There are two bikes that really have me interested, the Aprilia RSV4 Factory, and the Ducati 848 Evo. My current bike is pretty well set up though, so I'm not terribly motivated.

I always wanted a BMW R90S, this was back in the day when BMs didnt look like a motocross bike on Steroids, it would out accelerate a Ferrari. 0-60 in 3.2 seconds!!!

Funny how many Britons there are reading and writing here and not a single person has mentioned Triumph in this thread yet...

I remember going to earls court in 1972 for the bike show and seeing a suzuki GT750J on show. I think the price of a new one then was £919.00. I loved the style of the J model, and the next one, the K model.
Ever since then I've always wanted to own one. I finally got the chance to buy one in 1999. A person from across the pennines had it imported from america and I bought it off him. It took me a couple of years to rebuild it and change it's colour also, it had been bleached in the california sun. I preferred the blue and had it resprayed to that. Now the bike is in bits again as it has its crankshaft oil seals seen too. A major fault with these early big 2 strokes.

One of the nicest looking bikes the japs have ever produced. This was on my shopping list with 3 others, and this one came up first. It still took me 8 months of deep looking for a machine, and I let a couple of them go beforehand. It still draws a lot of attention-if only for the noise and the smoke.

I had a Triumph too, probably the best bike I ever owned.Again, it was back in the days before the 70 mph limit (which was "temporary" if my memory serves me right)

I bought a new 750 Bonny in 1978, unfortunatley, this bike was the biggest pile of garbage iI have ever owned. nothing on it seemed to be right, the electrics kept going wrong, the carbs were such that the bike wouldnt start if the engine was warm etc.etc .etc. it may just have been a 'Friday afternoon' bike but if it was representative of the marque, its no wonder the British bike industry went down the pan.

I had a few, but my favourite was a Matchless 500 single. Great low-end torque.
