Monday 18th February:
The Sun started off the week with Kelly smiling away, the pictures online were the older smaller format however which suggests a tad of potential recycling of older pictures again: Irony abounds in the Daily Star today. "PAGE 3 GIRL GUARANTEED EVERY DAY" it says across the front cover which is a pack of lies as they haven't printed a proper topless Page 3 on a Saturday or a Bank Holiday (nor Sundays for that matter) for the best part of ten years and The Sun is no better. Anyway Laura-Jayne was todays's Page 3 girl of choice but no online picture appeared (as at time of writing) so will sort out a scan if I can later. EDIT - Found it, not linked on their RSS feed though and once again flipped for the printed version: Last edited by Fred1001; February 18th, 2013 at 01:07 PM.. Reason: Added Daily Star image. |

Once again The Sun resorted to old studio shots of a very miserable looking Katie Downes for the second time in as many weeks: Not impressed.... Thankfully the Daily Star came to the rescue with a nice picture of Hollie Gibbons: Flipped for publication and a cropped for the printed version as per usual but at least they made an effort. |

Wednesday 20th February:
NO PAGE 3 IN THE SUN Instead we had some obscure fashion model instead. Is this the mooted 'fashinistas' replacement for Page 3 which Rupert Murdoch tweeted about a couple of weeks back? If it is I know what effect it has had, I have refused to buy it today and I suspect I won't be the only one. There wasn't even any online alternatives, pathetic... The Daily Star however managed to come to the rescue today with their 'Page 3 Girl Every Day' (just don't mention weekends and Bank Holidays) pledge bringing us a very nice picture of Sarah McDonald: |

Thursday 21st February:
Hollie appears in a very sunny outdoor shoot for The Sun today going at least part way to making up for yesterdays nonsense: What a pity she has gone and got a new tattoo in a most inappropriate place though, under her left breast and visible in these shots. It is clearly new as it does not appear in today's Page 3 360 or her or any previous shots. Also on the site was a new Lodge type shoot with Rosie Jones in a swimming pool. It is claimed this is from the current Barbados shoot but something looks familiar about some of these shots so I am not so convinced: Again tiny images and an undownloadable video add to the disappointment of a rather poor selection of images. The Daily Star had former Page 3 Idol finalist Jessica back in a nice clear picture all be it once again flipped for publication: |

Friday 22nd February:
Lovely finish to the week with some new Barbados shoot pictures, Courtnie in a cracking set of three pictures. Just a pity the online versions have shrunk to the older smaller size format again: Rosy O'Brien finished off the week in the Daily Star in a picture that on the printed version was cropped to death and had the caption box plastered over her arm. Very messy effort which meant the online non flipped version was the one to see: |

Monday 25th February:
Good start to the week from both papers. First up is the lovely India (silly leg tattoo not with standing) in a trio of nice location shoot shots: The Daily Star had Melissa today, unusually the printed version was better than the online version for a change as the latter had their ratings graphic on her head! |

Tuesday 26th February:
A really nice shot of Rhian sitting on some rocks looked good today in The Sun and the other three shots from the set were also worth a look as the series of new location shots continued: The Daily Star almost matched the quality with a nice bright shot of Melissa Debling only it was the usual studio with backdrop shot that has now become the paper's cheap to produce stock in trade of late: |

Wednesday 27th February:
Although I have never been a big fan of Poppy (indeed she has been largely absent from Page 3 of late which made me begin to think she was no longer on the roster) she made a decent outdoor shoot today: Holly Gasson in a nice if a bit cramped picture in the Daily Star today but for some reason there appears to be no online version available so onto the scanner the printed version did go: If an online version shows up later I shall edit this post. |

Thursday 28th February:
End of a busy month sees Amii in The Sun in a set of three fairly standard outdoor shoot pictures. Actually I thought the printed one was marginally better than the online one as the colour seemed to be better: Jessica Kingham in the Daily Star again (she would never have got this much coverage if she had won Page 3 Idol ironically!) in a picture that was not one of her best. The printed version was a bit of a shambles, cropped lopsided with her left arm lopped off and her expression did little to enhance a rather poor effort here: |

Friday 1st March:
Ending the week and starting the month on a good note was The Sun with the lovely Nicole: The online versions were best, the printed version was a bit over cramped in the presentation I felt. Flipped for publication but looking good none the less was Geena Mullins in the Daily Star: |
