Tax only goes to pay the enormous interest on government debt every other outlay they do is a loan against our childrens (and theirs and theirs and theirs) future income which actually never gets payed back. Stop this charade right now. Besides if I am not breaking any rules I'm no criminal. Want to bring morality into play? You do huh. I don't feel bad for not participating in the big lie. I don't know in your country, but in mine, I can pay very few taxes. I only need to earn very few money and to become autonomous as much as possible.

Tax Freedom day is April 23rd this year. https://taxfoundation.org/tax-freedom-day-2017/

If the Republican tax plan becomes law, that day will move well into May.

So most of the US middle class pays a substantial amount of its income in taxes. If offered a tax avoidance means, I am sure most will take it.

You build your home there and you have lots of problems. The main one is corruption, it is endemic. No matter how hard the people want to work and prosper there is someone willing to take the easy route and robbing them. I have some experience of Africa. Government officials there are like Gods and they think they can do what they want. Everyone one of them is on the take.

The second problem is tribalism. I was once in a hotel where we had a very interesting lecture on the tribal customs of the local area. Afterwards I said to the barman what a good lecture it had been and after spitting on the floor he told me that he considered all members of that tribe to be woman hating thieving bastards. He came from the nearest tribe who were all of half a days stroll from them.

And finally there leaders think less of their people than the clowns called EU Commissioners. I was flying out of Nairobi on the day Kenya had a big parade for their new constitution. Every president in Africa had flown in for the big occasion and as we taxied the pilot asked us not to look to the left. Being good Brits we all looked left to see the row of presidential jets all parked up. The people in Africa live in shit poverty yet their leaders have private jets. FFS.
