I've been looking after such a place for months...years(!?) until my friend azro told me about VEF.
I just had an overview but looks like a gold mine, exactely what I dreamt about.

In advance, thanks to all the nice posters, and of course, I'll manage to keep my seat here.

The artist formally known as DeiselDog.....is back!

Tried on many occasions to renew under my original username, but to no avail.
So the "New" username is up and in.

I'm gonna try to "re-Up" some of the older posts i've left behind if someone hasn't done it previously.

BTW...Great Job to the Admin. and Mods for a BIG Improvement on this New Board!

I'm hardly a new member (I joined in 2008), but I have just returned after an extended absence. I've been largely absent from the Internet as a whole for nearly 10 years, as a matter of fact. First, it was for health reasons, then it was for 'losing-my-job-and-not-being-able-to-afford-a-new-computer' reasons, lol.

It's been so long since I've been on here that, when I logged on the other day, for the first time in ages, and saw a reference to VEF, for a moment I actually thought, "What on earth is VEF?"

Which reminds me of something I read years ago. When I was in my teens, and home computers were all the rage (I'm a child of the 80s), there was a ZX Spectrum-themed magazine called Your Sinclair. I remember looking at the letters page once, where someone had written in to say that they didn't understand why other people writing in were starting their letters with, "Dear YS". This person wondered what YS stood for.

The editor's reply got straight to the point. 'How about, 'You're Stupid' ?!

Anyway, now that I'm back, I'll be looking round the old threads I remember, checking out the many I haven't seen, posting images whenever I can - my image collection is badly in need of de-cluttering, but I'm sure I've got some upload-worthy files - and generally passing the time while waiting for replies from the girls in the classified ads (see my earlier post, about the difficulties of hiring a model to produce custom images).

I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of time on here, now that I'm online again, but I'll try not to be too much of an irritant.
