Speaking from my own experience, the advantage to being sixty three is that you've grown out of being the effwit you were when you were twenty three. In every other way it sucks.

There's one other benefit. When you are old and say what you think, you are a grumpy old man. When you are young and say what you think, you're nothing but a miserable bastard.

A couple from me...

You know you're getting old when the "matures" you're looking at are generally younger than you.

You know you're getting old when whilst looking at a tv show you start fancying the lead characters mother (I found I was lusting after Kristine Sutherland whilst watching Buffy, The Vampire Slayer,

)

I was recently reading an article that claimed a study showed people in their early eighties were the happiest of all...so I guess I've got that to look forward to.
