Rachel ter Horst Discussion

I am not sure if this is of any relevance, but I celebrate a kind of an anniversary this year. 25 years ago ( ), in summer 1994, I took notice of the model Rachel ter Horst for the first time. The main souce for pictures used to be the "Seite 1" ( Page 1 ) of the tabloid "Bild Zeitung" which featured Rachel regularly. I still have most of the clippings.



Great mementos from the "fun decade" nineties. Anybody who has a similar story to tell?

I first saw her on the front cover of Mayfair, it featured Rachel, Helen Baldwin and Adele Stephens. Must have been 1994.

That should have been the 30 years of Mayfair anniversary issue 30#1.

I replaced the scans with bigger versions ( 1200 pixel height to 1500 ).

Possibly some of her very first photos taken by the Dutch photographer who had approached her in a shopping mall in Amsterdam in summer 1992. Her first pictorial was in the Dutch magazine "Aktueel" in late summer or autumn the same year ( I have been searching for a copy for 20 years now - in vain so far! ). A model agency in London took notice of the photos and, well, you know the rest.

Another year has passed by. Year 16 since Rachel left London and ended her active model career. Her own memories of her glorious times during the nineties might already be fading. But who is to tell that we will not get a new sign of life from her soon?

Not much old stuff turned up 2019 and the Yahoo fanclub dedicated to her is a thing of the past now - after almost 20 years. 2020 can only be better!

Great memories of buying that magazine. Great photoshoot.
I've only just noticed that all the yahoo groups are closed. What a shame.

The shoot must have been very expensive. Three top glamour models of the nineties posing together - almost unparalleled.



I hoped for more in this issue of the US Club International, but the three buxom graces are only eyecandy on the cover.

Vol. 1 No. 4 of the short-lived Mayfair South Africa also features them.



I have not yet managed to get hold of a copy.

Rachel in rubber - always something very special! After the end of the nineties, Rachel tried to re-invent herself with a project like "Sabotage - Return to Ibiza".
