No - I disagree , and Pearl Harbor also it has just a 25 % Rating on Rotten Tomatoes - whereas Dunkirk has 93% Fresh Rating ( and Top of the Charts for 2nd week running )
I also think that Tora ! Tora ! Tora ! is far superior to Pearl Harbor

Tora! Tora! Tora! is a flawless dramatization of the Pearl Harbor attack of December 7th, 1941. One thing I admire about this film that it shows both sides of the story. The film goes into detail on the planning of the attacks, and we get to see a more in depth reason as to why the Japanese carried out the attacks of December 7th 1941.
Tora! Tora! Tora! is an incredible film .

I know, that's why it makes me happy teeheehee

(I was actually very moved by 'Dunkirk', my grandfather was in the RAF at that time, and I think saw some action during the evacuation).

I brought myself a new car today!

And it is SUPERB!

It's a silver 2003 Kia Magentis:

http://www.cars-directory.net/pics/k...15977_orig.jpg

http://www.cars-data.com/pictures/ki...tis_1134_2.jpg

(this isn't actually mine by the way).

Of all the cars I've had this is by far the best. I wasn't even planning on buying it! I was looking at various garages in my area and has I was walking along the road I came across a car lot that I'd never seen before purely by chance, and saw it parked there AND for much less then my budget limit.

There's a few minor scrapes and marks on the body work, but it runs like a dream.

When my next door neighbour hears that I've been a little unwell and comes round unprompted to cut my front hedge for me.

How very kind...and a true Muslim gentleman.

Wink Nice guys Don't finish last...

I was invited over to a female friend of mine from college a few months back for dinner.

After dinner she said the following...

"You were one of the few people who were actually nice to me..."

She was referencing our time together in college. Kind of put life in perspective.

Whenever I am depressed or reminded that I am not a millionaire philanthropist, I just remind myself that just being nice to people can make a huge difference!

She was going through a rough time in her life and by just flashing her a smile or telling a bad joke put her troubles at ease at least momentarily.

Not preaching, just sayin'

Something rare, for me.

Quiet Sunday's
Made no plans didn't have to go anywhere didn't need to see anyone this afternoon.

Didn't leave the block at all, nothing got fucked up, just quiet and peaceful for once in the afternoon

It's been a long time since we were just bums on the couch and watched the football, felt great

Seeing my cat (the original Aubrey) asleep.

When I was ill a few years ago I once spent a couple of hours watching him and another cat we had (since died) sleeping together. The other cat loved Aubrey, and would follow him about; that morning they'd sleep for 5-10 minutes, then one or the other would change position, and then lick the other one for a couple of minutes before they both fell asleep again for another 10 minutes before the whole thing was repeated.

I kept thinking I should go to bed now but couldn't help but wait for the next bit of action, for - as I say - two hours. It would have made a wonderful relaxation video.
