I had a backstage pass to a concert she did back in the '80s. She's a tiny thing, maybe 4'-10"... 5' TOPS! An amazing voice came out of that little girl!!!
Funny enough, the best time I had during the concert was spent with the guy who was driving their tour bus. He gave us a tour of the bus (and you can be sure that Pat and Neil had it pretty easy on the road). Then, he broke out his photo album from his days as a roadie. He had autographed pics with Hendrix and Clapton, autographed pics with The Who and Janis Joplin. He had personal notes and all kinds of stuff. I spent an hour with my mouth hanging open and running my fingers over the signatures of some of the greatest musicians that ever lived. Anyway, here are some Pat pics I've had since the '90s... The res is low but so were the computers back then.     |

Pat disappeared from mainstream music by the mid '80s. In 1991 she cut "True Love" a rhythm and blues album. The best song on it (in my humble opinion) was a cover of Hank Penny's country swing "Bloodshot Eyes". Pat reinvented herself with this album.
