There was a Daily Mail special that I remember from after the 2000 Olympics (I think) with people like Kelly Holmes and Shirley Robertson in body paint - never seen any scans of that - or maybe I've imagined it

I've often wondered that about those Denise Lewis bodypaint pics (and trust me, I've studied them many times over the years

In the back view, as you say, it definitely seems to be just paint like the 'top', but if the bottom half of her 'outfit' was only painted on, we'd have had several nice full-frontal views...

I've never been able to make my mind up if it was either just paint, and then Photoshopped afterwards to cover up - in which case some lucky sod of a photographer got to see Denise showing everything

; or she was wearing a thong/G-string/whatever to cover up down below and it was Photoshopped out later.

It's a great set of pics though- I mean, she's obviously got an athlete's body, rather then a model's body, but I've always thought Denise is seriously hot

Can I take myself back to the veryt early 1980s and put in a vote for the comely little gazelle herself, Ms Zola Budd (as she was back then).

I realise she might have been a bit young, so I'll imagine her as she would have been just a couple of years later on *cough*

Just seen a couple of pictures in the Sunday Times magazine with newly-weds Jason & Laura Kenny(nee Trott) and I tell you what that Laura, phew! she's got great legs and not just for cycling with.

Maybe a bit out of left-field, but tiny (all 4'6" of her) British Olympic gymnast Claudia Fragapane caught my eye when she did BBC Strictly Come Dancing late last year. She really is as cute as hell, a very pretty young woman, and I'd love to see her do a really glamorous photoshoot.

I almost feel like a dirty old man saying this, given that she's only just turned 19 and I'm comfortably old enough to be her father, but I wouldn't complain if it involved the barest minimum of clothing either
