As my database includes non-CC stuff, I've been thinking about a few things to do with the various "dot" files. First, I think there should be a "codes" (.C) file, with entries like: .C, AS, Anal Sex, 1, 110, Color Climax, .C, AS, Anal Sex, 111, 118, Silwa, .C, EN, Early Numbered Series, 1, 184, Color Climax, Y .C, LM, Lesbian Magazines, 1, 15, Color Climax, Y The last field is whether that series has titles for individual volumes . . . only EN & LM use this. I've used 3 letter codes for non-CC stuff and can post the consolidated files if needed. I've also taken cccmagfan's list and turned it into a .M file, with entries like: .M, AS91, Jan 1994, 1, 100, L, , .M, AS92, Apr 1994, 1, 100, L, , .M, EN67, --- 1970, 1, 36, S, Sex Jamboree, Where the "1" column is the issue. Which raises the question of what to do for some Silwa magazines, where issue 1 and issue 2 have totally different stories. For example, Teenager 13 (issue 1) has: .MS, TER13(1).1, Lisa ... the Country Cousin, 2, , .MS, TER13(1).2, Tea-time with two Cocks, 1, , .MS, TER13(1).3, Belinda ... shove it up and feel yourself at home ..., , , But issue 2 has: .MS, TER13(2).1, They Go In For Fucking, 1, , .MS, TER13(2).2, Renate, 2, , .MS, TER13(2).3, A traveling-guide confesses, , , .MS, TER13(2).4, Wild & Hot, , , .MS, TER13(2).5, Anke, , , Does this format seem OK for the story ID? Also, if there is nothing in parentheses, issue 1 is assumed --- Grendel |
