FDR - American Badass

I knew this docu-drama-action-thriller was going to be %#@@! great from the opening scene where then Gov. of NY FDR contracts polio from a Nazi werewolf bite while he was out hunting with friends. Extra bonus is having Ray Wise (aka The Reaper) as Gen. Douglas MacArthur.

I expect this will be good. Many East Bloc movies are good quality, and contain much less propaganda and untruth than Hollywood stuff, imho

The true story of the US Army's first black soldiers,it somewhat lacks the scale and sweep of Gettysburg but exciting and authentic.The lead actors are uniformly good,even Morgan Freeman's by now overly familiar performance was still fresh when this was made.The battle scenes are well done and gorily believable.
